Really enjoyed that fight. Ruiz had the faster hands when he got inside but Parker's jab kept him off just about enough to deserve the win.

Joseph Parker just isn't good enough. Nor does he punch hard enough

Hughie will box Parker's head off.

Parker gets KO'd by Haye and Joshua. Guy's feet are so slow, he leaves his chin exposed on the back foot and his hands are not fast enough for all his flaws. There were a couple of moments where he dived in with rights so stupidly and he was lucky not to be countered.

Hughie would also outbox him easy.

Also Parker carries his hands so low but he's not effective enough with his jab to make up for it and his head movement isn't there to justify the low hands.

If i was Hearn i'd do everything possible to get parker next and push the Wlad into the late summer. Easy belt for one of the top guys

Happy for Parker but that was incredibly underwhelming.

His trainer just said Parker deserves a break... the last thing we need is this belt being held hostage. Looking at the rankings I would like to see him in with Hughie Fury or David Haye in first half of 2017.

Agreed and I think he might to do it. He'll pull another Charles Martin and pay whatever it takes to bring that NZ lump over to the O2.

    Good little scrap.

Not sold on Parker tbh, there are alot of fighters out there who'll be picking their lips about fighting him.

Don't see why people think Hughie Fury is a contender - never seen him in a good fight yet.

Parker now a World Champion and Ruiz is a much better opponent than Pudding Molina tonight.

Yes I do think the very top Heavyweights currently take him apart and the question is at a young age whether he has reached his potential or can he further develop into a stronger heavyweight.

This was a decent fight today unlike the 1/25 to 1/100 gas fights tonight.

If Parker would of went down the IBF route and his mandatory vs Joshua he would of got Ko'ed
