Chris Cork returns with his 'Big Fight Preview', this time taking a closer look at the headline bout of UFC 126; Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort. There are supporters in both camps but, historically and currently, Cork gives the edge to the champion to retain his belt. For the full breakdown, have a look here: http://www.yourmma.tv/events/details.asp/id/118/ufc-126-silva-vs-belfort.htm And let me know if you agree or disagree?
With this level of speed, power and striking skill, anything can happen! It will be about execution. One mistake could cost the whole fight. Belfort should not enter the clinch in fear of suffering the same fate he inflicted on Marvin Eastman. Like wise, Silva should not take Belfort for granted or risk a similar fate to Franklin or Lindland. A grapple off between them would be interesting! This is about fistic fury.
dont agree with that bull****, i think the ufc meant he has met his match in the striking department which he has, belfort is agood boxer and although silva isdangerous on the ground his bread and butter is his striking
