Get the league wrapped up as early as possible and have a good go at the later stages of the Europa League

Im not the bigot. Orange is a colour synonymous with Protestants. That’s actually why the colour was, as you mentioned put on the Ireland flag. They needed to pander to the Protestant population. This proves it’s a colour with religious connotations. In my opinion a club like Rangers shouldn’t be as irresponsible and use such a provocative colour. A club who had a policy of having signing no Catholic players until only 30 years ago. A club who’a fans have Red hand paramilitary tattoos, are in the orange lodge, sing about the pope and famines and spout no surrender bull **** at every opportunity. Come on.

I’ve heard stories about Motherwell but these and Dundee aren’t clubs associated with hate towards Irish Catholics. That’s why there’s no issue with them having them colours. Why would a club like Rangers who want to make it not about religion continue to choose that colour. Rangers have plenty of orange detail on merchandise now and there’s been plenty of kits in the last 25 years that have it. Too much for it to be a coincidence. 3rd kits, gk kits and detail on some others. A man walks past me everyday with a hat on WITH big chunky orange writing ‘RANGERS’ and bobble. The club know what they’re doing, they know what their fan base are in to and are cashing in. They can easily play dumb if anyone ever pulls them on it which they won’t.

Where abouts are you from pal. I lived there all my life, born and bred in rough north end, educated in middle class Sefton, work In rough South end and live in Knowsley now. Basically trying to say I’ve knew and know all parts of this city and different types of people well and never known anyone to care about the Queen. I don’t know anyone who watched the wedding or has ever had a street party. I don’t understand why anyone would be happy paying tax to subsidise these cretins. Imagine what the money could be spent on. What the hell do they do?

The only people here who like the queen are the orange lodge racists. These are the only people who are allowed to be racist because it’s funny to hate Catholic but nobody else. You mention the IRA scum bags but this great country’s armed forces colluded with terrorists from the other side on a massive scale in order to try and get the job done. The so called goodies. Surely that’s worse when every day you’re calling the other side names for being terrorists.

Most are very unpatriotic because what English government have done to them for decade after decade. Numerous official efforts to literally end the city, (evidence is there online in black and white and isn’t hard to find) the biggest budget cuts over and over putting lives at risk. You could go on forever. As an LFC fan you’ve surely seen countless banners about not wanting being English.

Rangers have a special relationship with Chelsea as they are weird queen lovers as well. You sound like a Chelsea fan now speaking about benefits. As you’ll know Liverpool is very socialist and Chelsea Chelsea are the worst club in the country for what it stands for. I’d rather be around Mancs any day of the week. Hopefully you don’t change your name to fat Frank haha.

Only a moron and a bigot gets offended/ annoyed, whatever by a colour. Rangers first orange kit was actually a tribute to the dutch connection at the time. Dutch manager and coaching team, i think about 5/6 dutch first team players also.

But like i said on a weak minded person gets offended by a colour regardless what u think it means. I havent bought any of the rangers orange tops ever but if i had and wore them i certainly wouldnt have believed that i was displaying a pro protestant top.

Grow up and deal with it if your offended by it.

Absolute nonesense we had the red top socks long before that song was ever sung!!

Since 1904, Rangers have usually worn black and red socks, the colours of the Burgh of Govan where the club has always been based

The song you refer to was started in the 1920's

    More lies

That's just a lie. The colours of the socks are to represent the colours of Govan as @delboy82 pointed out. It amazes me that stuff completely made up, ends up being passed on as factual.

West Derby mate although I have moved around a lot with work and spend time living/working in London.

Your points about royalty in the City are fair (there are some 'royalists' about but nobody really cares) but when England matches are on, the pubs are packed with fans supporting our team.

Born in Liverpool, born on English soil and proud of the fact mate.

If you actually do your research you'd find that Rangers signed a Catholic player before Celtic even came into existence, so what does that tell you about the actual history of the formation of Rangers football club. Do your research and you'll find that the club was founded as a working class football club with its roots in the shipbuilding industry, nothing more and nothing less. Rangers also signed numerous Catholic footballers before the signing of Mo Johnston.

Notice that not one Rangers fan here has brought anything sectarian or bigoted here. Every mention of that has been brought up either by yourself or Celtic fans.

Some strong anti British feelings on this thread and you would have a picture that Liverpool FC fans want Stevie G to fail at Rangers.

Certainly not the case except amongst some of the Irish contingent of the fanbase.

We will fight them on the beaches, every day and every PPV night and we will never surrender.

Nothing wrong with peaceful religious people of any persuasion but no time for terrorist scum or supporters regardless of political, religious or other reason for murdering people.

Big Dave Price went to the local Catholic school and a great lad.

I heard on Sky Sports today that the Celtic Football League are mentioning 'null and void' as an option if the season up there is stopped because of Covid.

If that is put forward by the Celtic Football League for a vote by clubs, given what happened last season with the criteria, then the law needs called in and arrests made for theft of title.
