Hitler refused to shake any medal winners hands, its a myth that he only snubbed Owens.

Owens was treated far worse when he returned to America.:deal

he was a celebrity in germany, but the germans wouldn't have treated him with any less reverence. the 1936 summer olympics were meant to cast Nazi Germany, falsely, in a positive light, and it did. i'm sure you know what happened after that, and that's why it's the greatest disgrace in sports history.

that's not true, Hitler refused to shake any medal winner's hands, AFTER cornelius johnson, the first black american athlete to win a medal at that olympiad, won his medals. hitler left instead of shaking his hand, and when officials told him he needed to shake all hands, he refused to shake the hands of all competitors. look it up.

They seam to have selective memories, they do not mention that Owens could not drink from the same tap as those from the whites in the USA on the history chanel when they talk about the evil Nazi's and the heroic Americans.

Those taps were separate, but equal.
