The biggest boxer

like all kids that age you had your best mates who lived in the same road as you ,who you had school dinners with and hanged around with before and after school with and you went into each others houses.

my 2 best mates were anthony august and jaques celine.
lennox and anthony had a skirmish after school one year which is the only thing that stays in the memory because they were the 2 biggest boys by far in the year we were in.

i fouget who he hanged around , i went to st bonaventures after and maybe his mates went st johns, there were only 2 senior catholic schools in the whole of newham.

 

met wlad in germany and im a fairly small guy 5'8 so the size difference was something else!

I stopped in a Bar in NYC before a fight and Kermit Cintron and one of his friends were sitting at the other side- I took a picture with him. It was right after his bad beat against williams. He was telling me at that time everything looked good for a rematch. And I told him he would beat him like he was in their first fight and we bought a round and shot em down Just cool to see the humanity in him.
