What fighters around today have the most dog in them: That inner hunger and desire to dig deep and grit it out when the going gets tough.

Katie Taylor definitely has to be in the conversation after the other night, Tyson Fury of course is up there too. Josh Taylor showed it plenty of times on that undisputed run. Spence & Crawford despite not having many tough moments throughout their career definitely have a lot of dog in them, mostly on show for both against Porter who has a lot of dog himself. I’ll add Usyk too. Who else?

Wilder showed no dog at all in the Fury rematch. Absolutely 0 resilience. But he showed decent dog in the 3rd fight and first Ortiz fight. Wouldn’t say he’s one of the top ones though.

Cheeseman is a good shout on a domestic level.

When the well is dry I can get a 1 tonne JCB out and keep digging deeper.

Any fighter that is able to look fresh at the end of a grueling fight qualifies. They're just as tired as their opponent, but they have the mental strength to keep their form together and not get sloppy at all. It's demoralizing to an opponent as the person keeping form is dominating the other with mental fortitude. Usyk definitely qualifies. Spence, Fury, any fighter that gets stronger later has it.

When you're huge for the weight and are feasting on opponents you're much naturally bigger than or career fighters from the lower weight who can't put a dent in cardboard box it's much easier to be a dog than it is when you're facing ones you're own size or way bigger than or punchers and KO artists your own size or way bigger because the chances of you getting KTFO are that much higher and obviously your physical advantages are a huge asset.

Chisora is one of the first to spring to mind when I think of dogs.

British domestic dust ups might as well be renamed Battersea Dog's Home given the amount of dog we often see in them

I haven't seen the fight yet but Lubin definitely has a lot if dog in him to battle through the injuries he sustained in his last outing.

Derevyanchenko has a lot of dog in him

Chisora is a great shout. The ultimate heavyweight dog. Sergiy loves a scrap too

    How could I forget Cheeseman?

But like I said British domestic dust ups are dog central

Look at the recent fights of Leigh Wood vs Conlan (Irish but same applies) or Jordan Gill.

Yeah, love him or hate him, Chisora is a real fighting man and a grade A warrior.

All of Dev's last five fights have been all out wars and he took a ton of punishment in them and was hurt or dropped or very nearly dropped in at least four of them, early a bunch of times too, but he battled back fiercely each and everytime

Leigh wood? He dug down pretty deep in that Conman fight.
