is that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is boring.

his fight with Baldomir was boring as hell. it was f'ing terrible. the ODLH fight was kind of dull too.

but he's had more exciting + alright fights than boring ones. the corrales, n'dou, genaro, hernandez, chavez, augustus, hatton, judah, corley etc. fights all had entertainment value.

130/SFW PBF is miles better than the WW PBF

I agree. People judge PBF by the Baldo and sometimes the Oscar fight but he's far from boring. Most of these people have a clear agenda and want any reason to bash him so they call him boring or a runner. When in reality he has been in many more exciting fights than he has been in boring ones. Just break down each one of his fights if you don't believe me.

This is true...he had a lot more fans when he fought at 130...I have no problem with Floyd or his fans...except for the fact that the same guys who defend Floyd and his fight style at 140 and 147 will also try to tear down Wladimir Klitschko for being a boring fighter...makes no sense!!

Its life man. If people dont like you(personality) they will just say anything. Most of Floyds fighting career was far from boring. Most ***s around here could not name 5 boring fights he was in.

I didn't think the DLH fight was bad at all. I don't mind watching PBF, though sometimes I think he deliberately fights in a defensive way because he tries to retain his slick image, which is annoying. But in terms of puristic boxing he's an entertaining fighter.

I find it interesting to try and guess what style floyd will use to win the fight...he is so versatile.

I think the only criticism that holds any weight is the fact that he chose not to fight the best in the 140 and 147 lb weightclasses...and please don't try and argue that Baldi or Gatti were the best at 140 and 147...don't fool yourself!!

This is all true. People who talk about him being a "runner" are going out of their way to find fraudulent reasons to hate him. It's all bull****.

His fighting style at 130 - 140 was exciting. His fighting style now is absolutely fine. You work to your advantages - end ****ing of.

Take away the Baldomir fight. It's what everyone golds on to when they call him boring.

Then they go to the DLH fight as him being boring.

If that's the best you got that he's boring. Then lol..

Mayweather even acknowledged that the Baldomir fight was "dull," which is why he went through hand therapy. This was after the Hatton fight I believe. Other than that, he's pretty fun to watch.

I dont think he`s boring at all, I really enjoyed the DLH fight & he masterclassed Baldo but he should have closed the show better in the final rd, that annoyed me.

mayweather is not boring he may of been more offensive when he was younger but like most you have to change your style to pro long your career i mean look at barrera he had a complete transformation the only reason people call him boring is because they dont like him as a person

I agree. I don't think he is a boring fighter at all. The Baldomir fight was ****ing ****, but Floyd was giving away 13lbs on fightnight and Baldo has a granite chin. The Oscar fight was dull IMO, but that was only one fight. Floyd had many exciting fights and in his peak days he was explosive.

I could not agree more that 130 PBF was in a different league to 147 PBF. I don't think PBF is a great welterweight at all, I think he would have struggled big time a decade ago against the likes of Mosley, Oscar, Tito, Quartey and Whitaker. But the 130 version was every bit as good as the best that division has ever had - and I include Arguello, Chavez and Nelson in that. H2H, Floyd may have been the best sfw of them all.
