Well, my vote is on Joe on points in the vote thread but I feel more and more that Roy will put up a great fight. How great? Can he pull it off? I don't know...

True. Prior to the fight there was discussion that Hopkins could seriously get injured against Pavlik. Even a respected trainer like Freddie Roach had the opinion that Hopkins was on his way to being punch drunk and that fighting Pavlik risked his long term health.

I don't know about that. It was a shocker the manner in which Bernard beat Pavlik, but he was only about a 4-1 betting underdog, much less than, say, Quintana-Williams I, Prescott-Khan, Phillips-Spinks, Campbell-Diaz, Mora-Forrest I, Lee-Vera, or even Funeka-Raheem.

I think Quintana over Williams was the upset of they year because Quintana is not a big Welter and was blitzed by Cotto with one body punch. I was picking Hops over Kelly because Pavlik was far too overrated and had never had fought at 170, although I never expected it to be so one-sided. JMM over Casa was shocking only because it ended in a KO.

Cotto Margarito really wasnt that much of a shocker. Hopkins was juat cause of the fact how badly he beat pavlik. What about amir kahn getting knocked out in 49 seconds. The guy was 20 to 1 on my sportsbook
