The Bite Fight 1997- what If Tyson only bit Holyfields' Ear 1 time??

After getting 2 Points deducted by Milly Lane for 1st bite, Tyson decides to keep his mouth-piece in his mouth where in belongs. What happens later on? Tyson would know he NEEDS a KO in the next 10 Rounds to win, cos of the 2 points deduction - But Holyfield would be Xtremely hard to stop as look at the Haymakers what Lennox hit Holyfeild with in 1999 And he wasnt even hurt, like the Terminator!! Would Holyfield beat him up again like in 1996??

My guess is same thing happens - Holyfield TKO11, this time with Blood splattered on his face from his ear what was bitten. So anyone think it would be v.different to their 1st Superfight of 1996??

Going in to the fight, and while it lasted, I thought Holyfield was going to knock him out within 6 or 7 rounds.
Holyfield's confidence was sky high, and he was strong as ever.

This was a physically better version of Tyson than the first fight, and Holyfield would have broken him mentally and knocked him out quicker because Tyson would have been more perturbed by the fact that Holyfield could absorb all he's got and come right back punching. When you know you're in your best shape and the other guy still handles it so coolly that can make you crack mentally and give up and get KO'd..
Well, that's basically what happened anyway, except Tyson got scared and punked out.

fight should have been stop after first bite.

Holyfiled was missing HALF his ****ing ear, and I seen fights stop on less than that.

Lane did a poor job imo.

Tyson was having a very good round before the bite, he wobbled Holy with a nice one two combination. As soon as Tyson started getting a little momentum, Holyfield starting leading with his head more. It was settling into being a great fight, but the headbutts made Tyson snap.

It makes me wonder if Tyson knew going in he was going to bite Holyfield if he starting butting again. Ive heard someone in his camp claim Tyson gave him a warning bite in the first round before he bit Holyfields ear off, and you can see it if you watch the fight. If thats the case, this fight was doomed before it even began.

:deal my initial thoughts exactly. a longer fight would have just meant more headbutts and probably woulda meant tyson going all hannibal lecter out there on more than just an ear. and yes, tyson was having a very good round but his god given emotional instability wasnt going to allow this fight to end any other way given the circumstances.

Lane did what career referee would have done.

"do you really want to disqualify him?"

When a referee is asked that by the Nevada State Athletic Commissioner the idea is to think twice about what you're doing.

Mills gave Mike another Chance, Mike blew it.

    As to who would win?

Hard to say...Holyfield kept composure so in all likelihood he's gotta be favored but its not a foregone conclusion.

I thought Mike was coming on strong in the 3rd, as the commentators said, there was a state of urgency by Tyson, he bit him yes, but i think this may have put some fear into holyfield, who knows,
i get this feeling Holyfield may have got scared for a few rounds and backed off from Tyson, but later down the stretch would have probbly stopped him again. i wouldnt say Tyson was scared of Holyfield, he pushed him after the bite as well and said lets go

Tyson was probably more frustrated than actually scared of Holy
