    Gus Johnson aka The Black Jim Lampley is replacing Steve Albert on Showtime's Championship Boxing telecast. Gus Johnson REALLY REALLY gets into the fights he is calling and goes pretty over the top which I like so I'm looking foward to seeing him call his first fight which is Arce vs Darchinyan so he should have alot of chances to go nutz and yell and scream.

    Some of you might recognize him he calls NFL games on CBS he also use to call the fights for Broadway Boxing and that Elite XC **** on CBS.

    cool.. Gus Johnson was the commentator for Duddy vs Campas. Thought he did a nice job.
