Nobody wants to go near him and with good reason. His resume obviously doesn't back it up but i genuinely believe he is the best middleweight and would beat Martinez. He has dealt with counterpunchers and movers when he was in the vests, the way he cut off the ring and made Dirrell lead in the Olympic semi was awesome, He ain't all bout power, he has serious ring smarts. Hope K2 get him a huge fight now, he deserves it.

Golovkin should get a Pirog like opportunity, and the K2 would be there to make sure something actually comes out of it.

Who's an up & comer at MW? Fernando Guerrero?

Let Guerrero be Golovkin's Danny Jacobs. Lights out.

    ****.

Gennady needs to show up at the Martinez-Macklin and Quillin-Wright fights and call out e-v-e-r-y-b-o-d-y.

the WBA invented that gay ass super champion title so there would be no more ducking of top guys, because the "the regular champ" would have to fight him after so many months....
Sturm has been "super champ" since sept 2010
GG has been WBA interim and then regular champ since aug and dec 2010
    Sturm next fight is 4-13-2012
after that it will be at least 3-4 months before the next fight and that will have him very close to the 2 year mark as "super champ" the WBA is full of **** with there rules....the elevate sturm to this status so he doesnt have to fight GG...but this makes it where he will eventually have to...and as you can see..after what will be 2 years theres still no fight

All that is left is Pirog, hopefully they both fight another because there's nobody else for either of them.

Grzegorz Proksa gives them both a run for their money.

What bothers me that if they do fight and whoever wins they will call the other a bum.
I personally rate Pirog and Golovkin quite highly and i wish they would get a chance to show it.

Even if Jacobs was overrated Pirog came to his backyard and was cool as a cucumber, times the guy and knocked him the hell out.

His ability and his lack of name recognition/marketability make him a very easy fighter to avoid. I almost don't blame promoters for keeping their fighters away from him.

N'Kijam has been particularly shameful in his ducking of Golovkin. It's going to take another fighter in a similar situation, like Pirog, to man-up and give him a chance.

They're both belt holders and neither can get a fight, how sad is boxing today. Same with the Klychko's. Haye, Povetkin, Helenius, Arreola have all turned down a shot at the HW Championship in the last couple years. Name another era when top contenders were declining fights against the Undisputed/RING HW Champion.

    no doubt man.
ive brought this up many times... Bert Cooper took the fight with undisputed champion holyfield on 13 days notice...he said he was in the gym training anyway said that he thought it was a joke...cooper said he would fight him one day notice! and he fought holyfield in atlanta , vanders hometown.
another point i should mention..bert actually tried to win too and almost did, unlike haye.

Pirog and golovkin need to fight each other, everyone is avoiding them and it is a high level fight, more underground now but between 2 of the very best at 160, everyone avoiding each other to fight b/c level because they are scared to lose the chance to cash in is ridiculous.
