Can't blame 'em. Boxing's always been about entertainment and personalities way before wrestling got popular.

The only entertainment i care about is in the ring. It's a cultural difference, you obviously value loudmouth pussies who try to attain success through a con rather than merit.

Well yes, I do. I love trash talkers who build up a fight properly. Trash talk and success are not mutually exclusive, by the way.

They have been dodging Golovkin for some Years now Mundine did not turn up for a purse bid some time ago,and most Middleweights seem in no hurry to fight him,its a real traedy I like watching him fight and the Comparison to Tszyu is spot on.

This bloke has a good chin and enormous power in both hands hope he gets the oppertunities he deserves because I think he is one of those rare fighters these days that would fight anyone if given the chance.!!!!

I agree to many different divisions now and fighters just pick and choose who they will and wont fight, bring back the good old days when if you wanted to be a World Champion you fought everyone that stood in front of you,the fight game the way it is today it seems like every ones a World Champion.!!!!!

The guy is high risk/low reward. Dangerous fighter.

He just needs to keep winning and try to market himself to get known.
Most fans would never of heard of him.

Golovkin needs to improve his defence, gets hit with too many shots.

Golovkin, Pirog and Proksa are the modern-day "Murderer's Row".

Sergio Martinez and Felix Sturm want no part of these guys.

Like i said it's largely cultural. Trash talking and being arrogant isn't something to be admired, it's something that desverves to be corrected with a hammer to the face.

    True.

Am I the only one who thinks GGG would get better opportunities at SMW.
I mean that AA went up in wieght and suddenly everyone wanted some. I think a lot of people in boxing consider GGG as a poor man's AA.
If GGG could get one or two decent names at SMW, he could get in postion for a mandate with Bute, Steig, or Ward. Even a fight with Magee would raise his stock immediately.

Does he have the size to compete at the wieght?

And if JR was to fight him at MW, what would that do for Jr, or GGG if he were to win?:think

He walks around at 160lbs doesn't cut any weight. Most of the JMW's are bigger than him Alvarez, Kirkland, Angulo, Cotto, Bundrage, Vanes, all walk around above 160 guarenteed.

Then stop watching boxing and wasting your time. This is a sport not a soap.

Neither is fighting. You're running into a double standard without noticing.
How do you expect the average Joe to generate interest in a fighter who makes no noise at all? Would you match your boxer up with Golovkin who's likely going to beat you when you can have another UK B-level dude who builds up a match properly and gets the masses electrified?

Yaddayadda. Ali trash talked the **** out of his opponents before wrestling was popular. That said, wrestling ain't no sport at all, so gtfo with that crap.
Skills outside the ring have always been at least as important as skills inside the ring and it's a shame that boring-ass personalities like Golovkin and so on refrain from generating proper interest among boxing fans.
What's the fight boxing fans anticipated the most in 2011? Wlad vs. Haye? Very likely, and why is that so? You may answer that yourself.

Charisma, trash talk and the ability to entertain the audience even outside the ring has always been a fundamental part of boxing because it adds emotionality. You get more attached to your fighter and don't want him to get knocked out at all cost. It's not too hard to comprehend, really. What's it, you Eastern Euros don't get about this? Boxers are entertainers first and foremost.
