i dont think its a blueprint i just think its the fighter... tall long fast good offense, defense doesnt have to be extrodinare but at least solid....this type of fighter can make it hard to counter all the while just boxing on the outside.....Paul Williams is the only person who can legitimately beat Floyd.

The rest have shots but everyone has a shot at winning its just not likely.

A tall southpaw with long arms fast hands a good jab good defense can counter good footwork and good pop. Unfortunately for his haters there's no fighter in existence who has all these qualities.

Floyd's defensive skills has actually increased a good deal since Castillo. And even in that fight a lot of Castillo's punches were blocked. Castillo is no blue print.

One of the inherent problems with discussing a "blueprint" for beating Floyd is that he is incredibly versatile. If a guy goes in there and does the same thing for twelve rounds, or tries to, he's going to be figured out inside of three of four. Then Floyd can streak the rest of the fight away. You can't keep showing him the same thing.

If a guy comes in and just tries to jab coming forward to set up a straight right/left hand over and over, Floyd's going to take that jab away, etc.. Eventually he will take away the one thing someone keeps trying to do.

I beg to differ dude. I have seen him stunned by Judah and Corley.

pbf likes aggression and pressure. he likes when fighters come to him. i think you have a better chance if you make him fight, and come forward.

Corley, yes, but Judah never really had him in trouble. The KD was a product of balance, timing, and the fact that his foot was behind Judah's. There's one point in the early rounds where Judah connects flush, gets excited, and flurries, but other than the first punch none of the others really land and Mayweather seems completely unfazed.

Corely does catch him with a HUGE right hand while Mayweather is getting aggressive, but Mayweather also ended up winning that round and giving Corley a sound beating.

That wasn't the punch I was talking about with Judah.

Floyd is diceptively strong. He is able to bully people in the pocket the first few rounds when noone things he can. and then he starts pot shotting with those rough straight rights(the weakness of the southpaw)
