NOT Juan Manuel Marquez, who lets not forget, has never gotten an "official" win on Pacquiao. I had Marquez up 1 point in each of his fights with Pacquiao, but NO one has beaten Pacquiao like God Morales did. No one. That is all.

Morales admitted to having studied that fight with Marquez closely and applying elements of it to his own game-plan. Marquez laid out one possible blue-print, and Morales laid out elements of another, with pressure.

yeah yeah yeah, I hear you but too much credit is given to JMM and not enough to Morales who ACTUALLY beat Pacquiao's ass, beat his ass enough to give up the 12th round and clown around by going southpaw and going to war with Manny. That right there is true greatness. Lets not forget this. Please.

Nobody has forgotten, what he did was ballsy and technically impressive, it's just false to assume many people didn't have JMM ACTUALLY beating Pacquiao once or twice.

There's something to it. It's interesting that Morales described almost exactly how he would do things before he did them. Apart from the switch. The ****ing nut.

    That's a great fight.

How can you go from beating someone so bad that you can **** with them in the 12th round to too old to not get stopped, in 10 months for the 2nd fight and less than a year and a half for the 3rd? Quite a leap is all I'm saying. JMM made Manny look a lot worse.

Yup and Prior to those losses Moralse was outclassed by Zahir Raheem. keep in mind Morales began his career in 93. We are not talking a young prime Morales.

I'm not denying he wasn't in his prime. I just don't get how it can be a 'blueprint' if you can only do it successfully one time in 3 fights.

Morales could barely make weight for the first fight. Which is why he moved up to 135, got his assed handed to him by Raheem, and moved back down for the $$$$ in the Pacquiao rematch.

You have to look for yourself, don't let them blind you either way. Morales won the first fight 115-113 on all 3 judges scorecards. That was not an ass whipping it was a close fight. Clear victory but close fight.

Weight, Not trying to get on Pac-man about this but after the first fight Erik never fought at 130 again unless Pac dragged him down there. It speaks for itself.

And once again, Erik began his career in 1993. Pac lined up with MAB, JMM and Morales at the ends of their careers. Just the way the cookie crumbles.
