Medgoen Singsurat laid down the Blue print that no one else has been able to follow.

Your toolkit may change or break, but the blueprint stays the same.

Erik Morales would son Manny Pacquiao 9/10 times if he consistently had the body to do so.

A drained and beaten down Morales was still sonning Pac for 5 or 6 rounds before he just gassed out.

You know what was Erik's best asset in that first fight? His chin; he took huge shots to beat Manny's ass. He legs were gone in the 2nd and 3rd fights.

Got a ton of respect for Morales and I always bring up his name when debating with Pac fans. He beat Pac fair and square but he was also KO'd twice by Pac. The reason why I have JMM ahead of Morales in terms of being Pac's nemesis is the fact that Marquez has won much more rounds than Morales did. Also JMM has been knocked down 4 times and has gotten up to not only survive but continue to win rounds. Nobody else has done that against Pac.

:good I'm a boxing fan and appreciate both Floyd and Pac. It's really true, if you are a boxing fan you have to like both of these guys. They both do great stuff in that ring.

Props for the win but I place credit on JMM more for laying the foundations

Morales was a beast, he switched to a southpaw stance against the legend Pacman just to please the crowd. Let jmm try that **** n watch him get ktfo!

What's the 6th Boro? As it is we don't even really count S.I.

Pac is better than morales, its not even close..

posters seem not aware that Pac had promoter/personal problems going into the fight, not to mention those ridiculous pillow goves...still a fine win for Morales' legacy.

I disagree Marquez laid the blue print Morales studied and perfected it but you also forget Morales was some how able to get Winnings gloves in the contract which likely would have had a different effect on Morales in that fight.
you have to keep in mind though Morales won that fight was still very close and there was high contact til the end, with Reyes gloves who is to say Morales would even have that win today?

    I said this just yesterday.
Sure Juan laid down the blueprint for Tijauna to study, but certain boxers have arsenals closer to Tijuana's than Juan.

Tijuana was hitting emmanuel silly with the check hook in the 1st fight. He would use it to reclaim his left flank and regain lead foot positioning.

You can't just say that Pac is better than Morales because its hard to tell. I would have loved to see Pac vs a prime Morales (all three fights), Pac vs a focused and prime Barrera, and Pac vs a younger Marquez (all 3 fights).

Still, that's not Pacs fault... will go down as a boxing great.
