:nono In my personal view perfect fighter to beat Wlad is guy in your avatar(prime), he would make Wlad miss his jab Wlad had trouble landing on Haye and Tyson has like 10x better head movement, stamina, power, defense footwork CHIN and most importantly he knew how to fight small, being smaller fighter was his strength!!! But everything i wrote here means **** if they let Wlad hold and hold again which good referee would not allow, so i really see this going 2 ways Mike KO, or Mike via DQ for holding!!!

I think technically Wlad is slightly better but one thing that would cost him against fighters like Lewis is that he thinks to much he gives to much respect to every opponent basically being safety first fighter would cost him, with being much bigger guy he dictates tempo of the fight and thats something he would not be able to do against Lennox he would not be able to just stay behind his jab and throw right hand every now and then, Lennox would make it a dog fight and KO him, because of these reasons i would pick prime Vitali to beat him because he is not bigger than Lennox and Vitali he would not be able to dictate course of the fight to beat them he would need to throw much more than he used to...for me Lennox stops him and i would definitely favor Vitali over him.

 

This argument is as strong as saying pre exile Ali has no blueprint or Tyson under Rooney has no blueprint that doesnt mean ****, he lost 3 fights deal with it, is he a better fighter now yes he is did he face any fighter on level close to the guys we are mentioning that could possibly beat him NO HE DID NOT, thats fact!

Nobody has really tested Wlad at all since Peter I and it is obvious that he has improved exponentially since then

So its tough to say what the blue print is, I have posted in countless threads about a page long response to this question

I'll condense it

1 Sanders blitzkrieged him,this can happen in any fight, a guy comes out fast lands a bomb and doesnt let up and gets an early win by taking an early initiative

-I suppose Wlad like any fighter on earth is vulnerable to getting caught early and just shocked

- However Wlad approaches fights more measured, jabs for 2 or 3 rounds solely before even letting go with power shots, times and figures out his opponents before really opening up, the jab softens guys after a few rounds. Wlad also holds now when caught, hurt or not he always holds when hit to prevent a barrage

2 and 3 Brewster and Purrity out lasted him, I strike Purrity from the record it was an early loss and he has come miles since. Brewster is a possibility

-Brewster had to survive a lot of punishment and was almost stopped himself
- Wlad in no way goes guns blazing like that anymore, most ive seen him sell out is in the Wach fight round 8 or 9 and i was afraid he would gas from the big round but he didnt and the next round he came out intelligent and measured

Wlad is better balanced, more confident, more patient, and more defensive minded

I suppose a fighter would have to beat him by bringing the work rate up causing him to panic and eventually get tired but this means body punching getting clinched and taking a beating yourself

Wlad basically proved vs Iggy and Haye that when posed with a quick and dangerous opponent who wants to set traps like Sanders he can avoid the traps and win comfortably on a jab alone

 

I'll take the opinions of that former heavyweight boxer Magna whatever in the classics over yours.. He said himself that Lewis would turn off Wlad's legs via upper cut on the inside.. and Wlad is not capable of being in a Pier 6 Brawl.

I'm not saying he's right.. I'm saying If I have to listen to someone like him or you.. I'll pick his opinion..


Eddie Chambers also said Lewis will beat Vitali 9 out of 10 times if they fought 10 times Prime for Prime.

Now as for your beliefs that Wlad was an 'great fighter that just needed polishing' prior to Steward.. That's delusional at it's finest..

Wlad was a walking KO Victim prior to Steward and he proved it again and again.

 

Hard to gauge he has an awkward style and the ability to make adjustments as the bout progresses.
