i would love it if this whole time they have reached terms and floyd decided to play it out like he's not sure and than they accounce it was always a GO for the fight.....sadly, i think floyd's pulling a HUGE ***** move and will retire for another year......I hope he is prepared for the monumental backlash when this happens.

Arum isn't leaving any wiggle room. At midnight he announces Pac's next fight. Simple as that. If it isn't Floyd then he hopes to lie all blame on Floyd by quickly moving on. Floyd tried to negotiate in the press after the last deadline. This is all predictable and I called it a couple days ago. I was half in jest but it is turning out to be even truer than I predicted.

Conference call?! Why would anyone want to tune in at an ungodly hour just to hear bad news? Doesn't make sense. Arum doesn't need it to shame Floyd. The backlash from fans, whether justified or not, is inevitable. Announcing a farce match like Pac-Margo or Pac-Cotto 2 doesn't exactly warrant a special conference. I would actually give Arum some credit if he surprises us with something good. But that sounds like wishful thinking at this point.
