Always seemed pointless to me as well. What I found funny was all Hattons hard talk about Floyds pad work. He said that Floyd can do as manny of those light little pitter pat punches as he wants,it doesnt matter, 'cause ill give him one of these *simulates a heavy punch*' And then Hatton gets his ass knocked out. lofl what a ****wit. What did he think smashing up a stagnant, meterwide foam pad for 15 rounds was going to do for his chances against Floyd? atsch atsch atsch :nut
With a degree in physical education, specialised in boxing I can tell you that you are absolutaly right. In a training you should simulate the actual match as gooed as possible. Not quietly what they are doing. That belt is good for your endurance but that's it. Plus endurance can also be trained in 3542 other ways
you dont need a degree in P.E to know this, its common knowledge, but you just wanted to tell everyone you have a degree.:hey
No doubt It didn't help that oscar sold on a false bit of good of how to beat Floyd Hatton should demand a refund ..
 Like it is something special to have a degree. Maybe for you. What do you do? Clean public toilets? First of all does not everybody now this at all:huh They are not all as smart as you. Second, this is called projection: because YOU would want to tell such thing to everybody you assume that others also will. Third , do I gain something from lying on a board? I hope for you you are joking mate. Otherwise you just exposed yourself hahaha
Exactly. The worst thing in the world Hatton could have done would have been to abandon the techniques that he had used for his entire career and all of a sudden tried to get more speed. He is what he is and he trained to get the best out of his natural abilities. Those abilities were not the right ones to beat Floyd no matter what training methods he used and it's pointless to suggest that he should have done anything differently.
I was wondering how much a benefit it could be to Hatton as well to do that bodybag training. It does seem basically the same as going at a heavybag. Consider all the damage that poor old Graham was taking getting battered aroudn there. He was constantly needing novacane injections and remember that finger? :lol I dont think they were really improving Ricky much with that especially considering the wear Graham was giving himself from doing that... None of the other great trainers have used that technique. Many ATG fighters have been made without using a "bodybag" so I dont think its really needed.
My only issue with it while watching, was why not have a "target area" or a "bulls-eye" on that thing. It's huge and Hatton hit it all over the place.
Post menstrual syndrome. Your always a hothead. You call people names when they didnt even do anything to you at all. You act like a smartass.
The body belt thing seemed pretty useless for the fight at hand. Not usind any focus mitts seems dumb as well. That guy uses gloves insead and then goes on about how Ricky damaged his finger Yeah I'm sure he does damage to you when you wear **** like that when he's punching youatsch
I mean why not have PBF (or whoever opponent) face or body painted on that big ass thing to narrow down target area and straighten, zoom in punches. Not like he was training to go body blow ButterBean.
