Jeffries was about as big as Holyfield ,who is considered a small heavy nowadays.Around 6 2 210.

Well, the footage that i have seen of him did not impress me. Carried his hands low, fundamentals didn't seem well. Maybe they were well-suited for 4 oz-gloved-wrestle-many-rounds style back then, but this is for 15 or 12 rounds under 1940+ rules, right?

It would be interesting to see how well Jeffries can take both of the big men's punches. He's never faced that.

Well, i was exxagarating, but it's obvious that Jeffries took a hellicious beating in many of his fights, including when he was at his peak against Fitz II, while Fitz was 38 and still a tiny fellow. I don't like his chances against either klit based on that.

I dont personaly think that Jeffries had peaked by the second Fitzsimmons fight. I think he continued to improve prety much up to the point when he retired.

We probably never saw the best of him if the truth be told.

Jeffries could not have made the cruiserweight limit that Hollyfield made without cutting off a limb.

he was a natural Fit Big man and NO steriods or weightlifting, Still I think the 1st modern crossroad Champ was Dempsey and Jack had no real exanples before him
