"I want to shoot down Braehmer by the end of 2011," stormed Bellew.

"If I get him it will be like Dambusters all over again.

"I'm just like a Lancaster Bomber, I'm a classic fighter like the old days - just like John Conteh. Braehmer will get well and truly blown out of the water.

"It would be a great shoot out because Braehmer's got a fantastic KO record and looks like a decent puncher.

"But I want to test myself against the best and Braehmer's would be a great test."

Braehmer knocked out Mario Veit in 4, Calzaghe only managed it in 6. Bomber beats Braehmer he already shits on Calzaghe :deal

Oh yeah **** hasn't he got 16 months for assault ? I think it may have been suspended or he has put it off due to his fight in April ??

Listen I like Bellew and he is a good fighter, i think he will get to world level, and he is a great poster but he hasnt faced anybody close to domestic level yet so

calling out Cleverly and Braehmer is getting a bit boring and its getting to cocky. beat some decent guys, and then he can start talking about Cleverly and world titles because he is a million miles away from Braehmer at the moment.

even in his next fight for the Commonwealth is agaisnt a bit of a joke opponent. afrobum the term most would use.

if Liam Walsh or Stephen Smith started calling out the world and european champions in there weight they would get laughed at, and in reality Tony is at the same level as them, top prospects that have not faced anyone of note yet.

bELLEW IS ALSO 27 WITH GOOD AMATEUR PEDIGREE (oops caps)

As I always say, Sung Kil Moon and Jeff Fenech won a World title within tenf ights. Pushing forward early is not unheard of and not unattainable.

    Rob.

He's 27 and everyone of note in the UK has refused to fight him. When he wins the belt next month and that doesn't turn out to be an incentive for other lads to want a shot, what else do you expect him to do. If he cannot get decent fights on the domestic scene then why can't he go straight onto the world scene - I don't see why if him and Arnie think he is ready for these kinda chances he shouldn't go for it. Braemer isn't ****ing fantastic by any means.

Exactly he's 27 and should be pushing on with his career. If he can't get the domestic fighters in with him then he should look beyond them.

Exactly. Which if the best domestic fighters did Khan face before having a World title?

I'd prefer Bellew to get rid of the useless filler and step it up. He wants to, let him prove himself. People moan when fighters get to 30-0 without fighting anyone of note, and yet when a fighter expresses a desire to step it up he's derided.
