Some people are so wrapped up in the mythology of an era past that it is impossible for them to view the sport in any objective sense, in fact it runs in opposition to their desires. I would go so far as to argue that they do not embrace to sport so much (as that is an afterthought) as they obsess on the mythology of an era past. It is patent delusional syndrome. This board remains interestingly only as a series of case studies.

Mendoza used to be a regular contributor to the Klitschko fan quote of the week series, I actually thought he was past his prime but this keyboard fart certainly gives me the impression he's on the comeback trail. Keep it up Mendoza, no pain no gain :good

Measuring the idiocy of these comments is difficult but I give this one about Chagaev a solid 7.6 personally but he's still got some way to go before he hits the dizzy heights of his stunning "Lewis made Vitalys cuts worse with his illegal dreadlocks and beard" contribution from the never to be forgotten "gottem" thread. That one had to be at least a 9.8, I had tea all over the wall, never mind my keyboard.

Save your tea on the wall and keyboard comments for the lounge. You are a king hater. All fighting weight does is hope the next Klitschko opponents win. He build them up, then tears them down once they loose. He will also try to bait people into saying one thing, then quote them out of context later. Such is his existence here.

Once again I'll offer you an avatar bet if you think Chagaev will win. I have made this offer to several times in Klitschko's fight. You always balk.

I don't need your opinion on Chagaev. He's un-defeated and pretty much seen as the 3rd best heavyweight in the world by all the independent ranking organizations that matter. That is good enough for me.

Sorry, did you just accuse me of building Klitschko opponents up in the same thread that you claimed Chagaev would be top 5 in any decade in hw history?

As for the avatar bet, I've already lost one and can't change my avatar until the start of the football season, which I think is pretty much conclusive proof that I don't balk on avatar bets, isn't it :patsch

For the record I think Chagaev is very average, and I think Wladimir will win easily. You just assume that I always pick against Klitschko because I take such delight in mocking the moronic majority that support the guy - present company included of course.

How am I supposted to know you lost an avatar bet? I have no time for you here, excpet you there have been times when your avatar has been yours, and you balk. If Haye fights Vitali, can we wager then?

    Perhaps, I'll think about it.

Keep making contributions for quote of the week and I'll warm to the idea, most certainly.

If Haye gets cut and stopped whilst up on the cards though, you lose.
