Fair enough assessment. I think Fury has a decent chance at keeping it long and getting a comfortable UD though.

Ignoring that his fans think he's the terminator following the Whyte win how do you feel AJ would match up with Sasha?

..but he will keep at it, slow and steady, until he gets to Fury, and won't be daunted by the minefield of light stuff Fury throws in his path the way Klitshcko was. Cunningham with all the heavyweight bulk doesn't exactly move like quicksilver either (and isn't primarily a pressure fighter) and he was able to get into range and tag Fury up pretty well.

Fury's best chance is actually inside at extremely close range, to give Povetkin the octopus treatment with jab-n-grab and clubbing in the clinch.

Boxing on the outside like he did with Klitschko is playing with fire with Povetkin, as sooner or later Povetkin will find that mid-range sweet-spot and KA-POW!

That's a great match-up. I worry for Joshua being a little too green for that anytime soon, actually. Povetkin is a different beast entirely than Whyte, and poses all the same problems and more (and does everything better).

I think Joshua might find himself stopped about miday in that one.

The OP thinks Chisora and Whyte would beat Povetkin too.

The bookies are on point. Only Joshua beats Fury. Maybe Haye but I'm not sure what he's got left

Povetkin is predictable and has only one pattern of attack.

Step forward , step back. Jab , right hand , left hook. Over and over . Rince and repeat.

He is appalling on the inside and happily surrenders every time time he's in there.

Fury is a strategist and is very un-predictable. Povetkin is the kind of guy to bring out all Furys skills and strengths to the surface. You will see what his inside game is all about.

Wlad put all his efforts into smothering Furys work to save himself a stoppage loss. He had no offence left he worked so hard at it.

Povetkin won't fight with defence. He gets out boxed from the outside like he did against Tackam and clobbered senseless on the inside. His short hooking would not be effective on Fury.

And you thought Fury had 0% chance against Wlad. I realize Povetkin is a lot of you guys last hope but he really isn't anything special. Theres nothing to suggest he definitely gets past guys llike Chisora or Whyte, this is a guy who got manhandled by Huck we're talking about.

No, I gave him a %10 chance and I gave Fury his credit after the fight. Currently, Chisora wouldn't last six vs Povetkin. It might've been an interesting fight in 2011 when Chisora was prime and Sasha was out of shape but both Whyte and Chisora get smashed by him on the same night.

Fury would give Povetkin Cunningham treatment. Povetkin is too small to challenge Fury -styles make fights in it's purest. It would be even more brutal than Klitschko Povetkin was. Fury is very versatile and can change fighting style depending on opponent rather dramatically. He has his obvious flaws, but that ability is what has impressed me most during his career. For example Wladimir never had that ring intelligence and ability in his ****nal.
