Imagine a hypothetical tournament, in this tournament the greatest fighters of all time from each weight class are competing. Each fighter competes at their best weight class. A fighter can compete at more than one weight class (eg Duran at LW and WW or Holy at CW and HW.) There is a different tournament for each weight class. Who would the bookies favorite be to win the tournaments in each weight class? (Not who you think would win) 1.Heavyweight- 2.Crusierwight- 3.Light Heavyweight- 4.Super Middleweight- 5.Middleweight- 6.Light Middleweight- 7.Welterweight- 8.Light Welterweight- 9.Lightweight- 10.Super Featherweight- 11.Featherweight- 12.Super Bantamweight- 13.Bantamweight- 14.Super Flyweight- 15.Flyweight- 16.Light Flyweight- 17.Minimum Weight- Edit, please try not to use retrospect as what a person done after the weight class you are selecting them for is irreverent to how this would work.
1.Heavyweight- Muhamed Ali 2.Crusierwight- Evander Holyfield 3.Light Heavyweight- Archie Moore 4.Super Middleweight- Roy Jones Jr 5.Middleweight- Carlos Monzon 6.Light Middleweight- Thomas Hearns 7.Welterweight- Ray Robinson 8.Light Welterweight- Aaron Pryor 9.Lightweight- Pernell Whitaker 10.Super Featherweight- Diego Coralles 11.Featherweight- Salvador Sanchez 12.Super Bantamweight- Wilfredo Gomez 13.Bantamweight- Eder Jofre 14.Super Flyweight- 15.Flyweight- 16.Light Flyweight- 17.Minimum Weight-
Good stuff, i was curious about people opinion on who should be at the 1. spot in the heavyweight, Tyson and Ali would be very close IMO.
Why would the bookies prefer Moore over Charles ? Not that I think Charles was the only man who could have been / was Moore's daddy.
