You obviously missed the ones that Calzaghe caught Bhop flush with.

Do you have one eye by any chance?

Agreed,Rumsey is being gracious and honest here, yet being criticised for it.He states Joe showed great ring generalship, versatility etc rather than merely downgrading Hopkins performance and skills.
Very odd and churlish to insult him for that.

Rumsfeld did you watch the fight? Calzaghe threw "snappy" punches? More like "slappy" punches. If by making adjustments you mean bitching to the ref when Bhop tied him up or covered up when they were inside fighting then I guess you have a point. Bhop 114 JC 113.

  5. I think you're spot on Rumsfield, great post & very honorable of you. :thumbsup

Bhop was competitive and knocked Joe on his ass with one hand. Bhop was not always a one handed fighter....END POINT.

What the 2-3 punches in the later rounds...lol:lol: Now you idiots are going overboard. Even in the post fight highlights they showed the same left hand land from two different angles..lol. Why didnt they post Bhop dropping him on his ass with a right that was obviously tactical brilliance. Calzaghe did not land **** that night. Period. He did not land any combination, he landed one shot at a time. When you are a slapper flinger like him you aint doing **** to your opponent. Nobody got out of the ring with Calzaghe with not even a busted ****ing lip while Bhop had less scars then in the Winky fight.

I scored it 114-113 for Hops, too (admitted bias taken into consideration).

COME ON! If Calzaghe HADN'T made two key adjustments (avoiding the right and decreasing volume with increased power), Hopkins would have dominated him. Those adjustments made all the difference in the world, and even though I think one can still argue Hops may have done enough to win, when Hops starts getting out-adjusted, that's no easy feat, and Joe deserved due credit.

Is slightly outhustling b-hop not good? The fight was fought at b-hops pace he had a two point lead after round 1 AND CALZAGHE WON. How is that not impressive?

Were you expecting b-hop to come out with a calzaghe or pavlik like output?
B-hops makes fights look bad and usually wins them. Not last night big props to Joe.
