There is no real way to beat "The Funk". You must just learn to manage it. Best thing to do is to buy a second set of the same glove (or different one) and alternate. Then get you a bottle of plain white rubbing alcohol and hit the gloves with it inside after a good workout. Then go buy some of the crystal cat liter which is really just silica gel. (The same stuff in the 'do no eat' packets used to dry out food.) Fill two large gym socks with it and then stuff that in your gloves during the pair of gloves' day off. Using each pair every other day should completely fix your issue, but "The Funk" is there to stay!
i got them.. in red.. me personally i dont like them one bit... feels like when i push off my back foot the side of the shoe is touching the ground... over lapping the grip..In general they feel very floppy not much support... and they stain like **** .. mine are all discoloured from sweat/spit/what ever else spills on em while training, dont waste your money buddy.
Can anyone recommend me a good pair of gloves for sparring? I've never had my own pair before, I was thinking of getting something that would last me a long time, and of a good quality. The Everlast Protex gloves look interesting. Thanks
I have the grant pro training, I'm upset at the quality (not bad, but for the price I would expect perfection) the gloves have great protection and by far the best wrist support I've had
Just bought some Ringside UK Pro Training Gloves (14oz) Started boxing about 6 weeks ago and was using sparring gloves, I have pretty weak wrists so I wanted to go for a specific training glove which should help for the bag work. Will put a review up when I recieve them.

Ringside Pro Training Gloves (14oz) This content is protected Very nice looking gloves. Inside is a soft almost fleece like material, very comfortable on the hands, how well it copes with sweat, Ive yet to see. Quite a large glove with a long wrist support. Leather feels really good quality and the knuckle area is well shaped and firm but not hard. Best thing about the glove is the well shaped thumb area, I can sit my thumb in the perfect position and it feels very natural, no need to try and strain my thumb. Effectiveness: ?/5 - Yet to use the gloves for a proper session so will have to wait and see but all signs are promising Style: 4.5/5 - Beautiful looking gloves with some really nice colour designs avalable Durability: ?/5 - Again, yet to fully use and will update further. Only worry is the leather looks very smooth and supple so may possible susceptable to excess wear or splitting. Cost: 3.5/5 - Not cheap at £55 ($85), but they appear a quality glove.
The best one equipment is much helpful in the training and also in the ring during the title... This is some what expenses but have the better one quality... That will help you more in your game..... El Sobrante Personal Trainer
Has anyone here ever used a double end bag anchor? I'm thinking about getting a double end bag, but I'm in an apartment where I don't want to drill into the wall or floor (ceiling is fine, though). I would be grateful if anyone could share their experiences with these anchors. Thanks.
Just used the Ringsides for my first session. The glove provides excellent support and comfort when hitting the heavy bag. No signs of any marking on the leather which seems durable enough. But the feeling when hitting the bag is brilliant, not a single painful punch. Only issue was the fleece like inside got quite uncomfortable after around an hour.
ive got the high top's in white,same boot but the high tops have this breathable material that is kind of seperate to the actual boot. its weird. i only bought them cos the description said arch support and i have high arches. i did get them cheap (titleboxing.com) but i totally agree that when i push off my back foot feels as though the side of the shoe is on the ground. i wouldnt buy them again i dont thnk
