I havent tried the older Cleto. Kinda scared to order if i get the same experience that i had with the newer version.

Im strugglin between Winning FG-2900 and Cleto Reyes older model.

I cant recommend the newer model for anyone.

Go for Winning. I haven't tried it but I have Cleto and it's nothing special. Good protection, Sleek design etc.. but everyone goes on like Winning comes from Heaven itself so you might as well go for it if you have the funds

Allright, will do that. Funds can be arranged.
I have fairtex model now and its ok but the padding is so stiff that i might well be without it.

i don't think they supply wildcard since they use title and everlast brands. the pro website only has its own name brand "Pro". However, they do have a nice selection of gloves.

Is there a type of headgear that can protect your eyes from thumbs or "slaps" in the eye? I use lens and its kinda hard to see without them and when some punch just "slap" my eye I lost it..

Is your opponent using gloves with attached thumbs? How bout you try a mexican styled headgear (the ones with the oversized cheeks) and see if it gets better? Or you can get a nosebar?

This isn't a boxing headgear but it is well suited for hard sparring (its used in the hybrid form of kyokushin karate and judo):

I've been thinking of getting a pair of 16oz Cletos (Mexican version) for training and was wondering how long they will last?

I ask because I'm using Top King (thai brand) Air gloves right now and its meant to be handmade and top quality. That being said, its only been a year and a half and I already need to replace them (though, to be fair, I do train 6 hours a week so its like 450+ hours total). Also, since Top King only costed me $75 and CR is double the price, can I expect at least 3-4 years in terms of durability?

On another note, my hand is kinda small and I heard the hand compartment for CRs are pretty wide? Can anyone confirm this to be the truth?

    Cheers :D

I'm currently importing Casanova Boxing Gloves and gear from Mexico for sale in the USA. These are the original Casanova gloves, made of cow leather and latex foam, however they have all been made WITH attached thumbs, unlike the gloves sold from Mexico.
you can find the gloves at my ebay store (seller: morenoinc12), http://www.ebay.com/itm/CASANOVA-PR...963?pt=Boxing_Gloves&var=&hash=item2c6a847653
Or you can email me for more info.

hey everyone i have a quick question, I just bought a pair of winning gloves that have a velcro strap, however i prefer lace gloves.
Has anyone tried converting a pair of gloves like this?
    Can it ruin the gloves?
