There only £24 on SugarRays and I like the style so I'm thinking of getting them. Just wanna know if they are durable and comfortable.

A thick plastic rope with ball bearings in the handles to minimise the friction

Effectiveness 4/5 - Exercises your legs as well as your arms well as it is slightly heavier than your average rope
    Style 3/5 - Nothing special
Durability 5/5 - This rope will be in good condition long after your bored with it
Cost 4/5 - £8 at a local sports store is quite good for a rope of this quality

I've had bad experiences with Lonsdale gloves so I usually stay away from them. The padding worn away quickly and the stitching quickly deteriorated I havn't seen anyone with those so I can't really provide you with the info you need.

Perhaps I should try that one, mine either break at the handle or in the middle where it hits the floor.

Ah really? How many rounds would you say you done then before they wore away? Doesn't sound too good, maybe why they are so cheap. I don't think I'll be using them all that often anyway, probably just a few rounds of sparring a week.

Ah right you got them? I'm thinking of getting them in 14's, I don't like sparring with 16's but obviously you need protection. They comfortable then? Good fit?

Lol, yeah I got pretty small hands aswell I suppose. Cheers for the tip mate. I'm not really all that fussed on durability and stuff, I just want something where I can let my hands go and it doesn't feel heavy and unbalanced.

Yeah same since I skip quite fast. This rope is sturdy and has lasted me almost a year with no signs of wear and tear so I recommend it.

Wouldn't a bit of Vaseline solve that?
