Boilermaker, have to take you to task on a few things you wrote. The Ellis bout was decided by the ref alone while most viewers live and on tv thought Patterson clearly won the bout. I've gone over this bout time and again and have it a draw. There is no way he was beaten by Ellis clearly and if anything I would have to shade it to Floyd, but neither of them set the house on fire. The Bonavena bout was Floyds last and most thought Oscar unofficially should have taken it. Nevertheless Floyd did manage one of his big left hooks that may have dropped Oscar in Pattersons better days and showed Floyd would have taken a clear win in his prime. The first bout with Ali doesn't give any indication of what Floyd could do as his back was so badly out and he was outboxing Ali in their rematch until cut badly and stopped. Incidently Floyd said that Ingo hit harder then Liston.

Only a day and half left to get your picks in! C'mon help us out!~!!

Ali seems to be pulling away from Iron Mike 10-4

My cinderella pick to win it all Johnson is getting dominated by Bowe 12-2

The great white hope Rocky seems poised to enter the next rd 12-2

Frazier is strating to seperate from Holyfield 9-5

Liston is obliterating Wills 14-0 in the only shutout of the rd

Holmes and Lewis in a dead heat at 7...c'mon I don't want to have to do a coinflip to pick the winner

Louis is rebounding from an early deficit to Big George 8-6

Jeffries is coming on but floyd is poised to shock the world 8-6

    Anyone else got a voice????

It's ok, he's probably just biding his time before he gets a late KO in round 30.

WELL HE BETTER HURRY! Its about rd 26 now! although the cards are now even at 8...we need some tie breaker votes c'mon

Holmes Lewis are knotted up as well...and depending on your knowledge of Championship fights it is either RD 13 (with a 15 limit) or RD 10 with a distance of 12!!!!

The results of this tournament so far are quite interesting. For all the criticism that the boxrec ranking system gets, there havent been many upsets at all. In fact, the number one and two ranked fighters have all got through to this stage! And with the exception of Jeffries, every single ranked fighter to get through to this stage, has been ranked in the top 5!. I am not sure why jeffries wasnt ranked in the top 5 but i assume it was a lack of fights only that may have skewed his otherwise exceptional ranking so maybe this tournament is proof that the rankings are better than we all believe at first glance?
