    1. Aside from training/overeating issues, I've always felt that Riddick Bowe's two biggest weaknesses are the trouble he has with guys that can jab with him, (most emphatically shown by the second Holyfield fight in my opinion, where despite being shorter, having a lesser reach and less power, Holyfield nonetheless managed to control Bowe with the jab and disrupt Riddick's attempts to establish the jab) and his wide looping punches that lead him open to possible counters.

With Ali, Bowe faces an opponent who can take advantage of both those factors. Bowe presses forward throughout the bout but never seems to be able to make any progress at wearing Ali down or establishing his jab against Ali's. Ali by UD. Major x-factor: does the presence of Eddie Futch in Bowe's corner make any difference in the fight?

    2. Marciano Frazier is epic trench warfare. Two damn tough guys who relentlessly grind an opponent down and never stop coming. In my mind this one is too close to really call, but I give the slightest of edges to Frazier, and think that his talent for finding a way to slip in that wicked left hook and Rocky's tendency to take facial damage may be the difference in the bout. Frazier by SD, possible stoppage due to a cut or other damage to Marciano.

    3. I probably haven't watched enough footage of prime Liston to comment on this bout, but my guess is that Liston tries to come forward behind his jab, while Holmes, with superior handspeed and foot movement, moves back behind his. Liston ultimately is looking to close and put the hurt on Holmes, but he has a tough time doing it, especially since Holmes is always taking advantage of angles and is constantly stick jabs and counter shots in Liston's face to weaken Sonny. Holmes by UD.

    4. Louis by KO.

    halfway through the fights:

Ali VS Bowe- Bowe came out strong and troubled Ali in a very close first round, but Ali has settled in and found his groove as is showboating as he picks Bowe apart. Bowe seems to be getting frustrated, hitting Air and chasing the taunting Ali! Ali looks to have the fight well under control.

Frazier VS Marciano- What a back and forth battle there is here. Frazier nipped the early 2 rd's, but Marciano roared back to even the fight up. Inspite of Frazier's relentlessness and great stamina, The Rock does not seem to be affected to much and is more than matching Frazier's intensity. Marciano is holding a slim margin on the card's but this one is still wide open!

Holme's VS Liston- Holmes seems to not only have a great plan, but is executing it flawlessly! From the start he has shown the quicker feet and hands and is countering almost everything Liston throws his way! At the end of the 3rd Liston unloaded a monster jab and Holme's looked rubbery, but the bell came at the same time. Holmes seems to have regrouped and is back where he started controlling every aspect of the fight and appears to be well ahead on the cards!

Louis VS Jeffries- Louis has controlled this fight beautifully. Slipping the punches of Jeffries and countering anytime Jeffries tries to establish an inititive. Louis get's cought in the 3rd and goes down, but it looks to be more of a flash KD and he quickly regains control. Louis's jab has started to close the right eye of Jeffries, and appears well ahead on the cards!

As the fights enter the last 2 rds. Ali, Holmes and Louis all look to be well in control of their bouts against Bowe, Liston and Jeffries. Frazier and marciano are in a very tight slugfest to no ones great surprise. Marciano clinging to the slimmest of pts leads on the cards. Who's stamina will prevail!

Any pickers left???? Just over 24 hours to go!
