The Bradley/Khan saga - what would YOU do if you were Bradley.....

Bradley is doing the right thing IMO I really don't understand the hate he is getting I guarantee everyone in Bradley's shoes would do the same thing.

 

The issue with letting the fight "marinate" is that is certainly possible that Khan loses sometime in the next 12 months. He's going to fight some tough guys whether it is Judah, Guerrero, Marquez or Maidana : any of them could knock him out cold. That would make the fight worth jack-diddly and Bradley has lost his biggest possible payday (other than Pacquiao...).

 

Fight khan then IF i won i would have the WBA as well and no one would doubt my ability and hey as im so good it would be an easy 1.4 million in the process. then every one would look at me as the best not the guy who ducked amir khan

 

If I were in Bradders’ shoes, I’d take the fight because:

• The Pacquiao fight is not a certainty, and if he’s lucky, the earliest it’ll be able to take place is in 12 months time.
• After repeatedly telling Khan to 'stop running', I’d look pretty silly now if I were to temporarily avoid him.
• Khan’s there for the taking. Beat him now before someone else does.
• Oh, and I forgot, if I were to join Top Rank, the fight with Khan (if he's still hot-topic by then) will be even harder to make, as he's a GBP fighter.

 

Bradley is going to get $1.2m for his next fight which doesn't have to be Khan. If Mayweather continues to avoid Pac and Bradley signs with TR then after JMM III, Bradley/Pac is the logical fight to make in 2012.

Also, if the Pac fight doesn't come off then Bradley/Khan can be made next year if both continue winning (and if they're the best 140lbers around they should). And if both have at least two fights from now till then and look impressive then Bradley/Khan in 2012 will be a lot bigger than Bradley/Khan in July 2011.

Yeah I know about the whole GBP/TR thing but signs are things could be getting better between the two.

 

If I thought I was really the best at 140 why not fight Khan later this year if he has contract problems with Shaw.

Pacman wont be free till next year so why not face Khan?

After the Paulie fight Khan layed out a plan, a plan which would give the winner a real chance to face Pac or Floyd at 147 once business at 140 is finished.

Khan and Bradley both won their fights, and then Khan was willing to face Bradley for all the belts(bar IBF) and a chance for the winner to become the real 140 King, Bradley cant claim he is the best without facing/beating Khan and same goes for Khan.

Bradley is jumping Khan and going straight to Pacman, yet if he claims he is No.1 at 140 why not face Khan later this year and then take on Pacman next year?, he has the time.

You don't have to have the fight NOW. I seriously doubt Arum will put Bradley straight in with Pac, he'll want to build Bradley up first.
