Count me on! I want to see this fight! Who wins? I don't know... I mean I don't like using the Triangle theory , but DLH had a close fight with PBF where as PACMAN absolutely dominated DLH.... Styles make fights, and something tells me Pacman will be the 1st person able to get to PBF and hurt him... this fight better happen, its much more intriguing that watching Hatton v Pac ,, Btw I think Pacman retires Hatton

Well, I still think Mayweather would stop Pacman, just to prove a point. But, how the Hell can you count out Pacman. The one thing Pacman was not supposed to be able to do was dominate and stop DLH. The people will remember how this fight was supposed to be a mismatch and how, even past his prime and weight-drained Oscar should spank Manny. It's something I agreed with, whilst maintaining I wanted Pac to win.So.....who knows, maybe he could beat PBF. PBF would hit him more, but is Manny fast enough to hit Floyd? Manny can genuinely fight at any weight between 135 and 147 it seems, and whilst it would be suicide to fight Margarito or Williams (true giants of the division) May might be a feasible fight.Still think Floyd would win, but as with this fight, I'd be rooting for Manny. If Pac beats Hatton and Floyd, then beats JMM for real (with no disputed, i.e K.O's him) then I can actually see Pac being a top 15-top 10 of all time.I will be flamed for that, but seriously, we might just have to accept that we've seen a fighter in our generation who was truly old school and might just deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Ted Kid Lewis, Sam Langford and Henry Armstrong.of course, if Manny beats Hatton and never fights Floyd he'd still be high. if he lost to Floyd, he'd still be high (though seeing how Manny fought at 147 it would have to be seen as a legitimate and fantastic win for Floyd, not just another 'Floyd fought a smaller guy') A lot of ifs, but I'm just contemplating what a resume/reputation Manny would have if he could pull off those three wins. After doing the unthinkable tonight we can never rule him out again. Hatton at 140 will be harder than many are predicting now; Unlike Oscar, Hatton will throw leather, and I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd gets him to revert to the 'old Hatton' (i.e the Hattom after the 'real' old Hatton who just wrestled his opponent and hit them sporadically) as I think that might be the only way to nullify Pac's offence. But I see Pac being too fast and stopping Hatton on cuts at about the 7th round. Pac-PBF could be one of the most prestigious fights of all time. It would be a true fight to determine who was the best of a generation. If I'm getting very grand it's because I'm high on the fight, but at least the Boxing fans got the result they deserved. Hatton-DLH would've been the pits (and I'm not certain if Hatton would've destroyed DLH's body really badly, can't believe Oscar talked of getting to 140, would've been very very dangerous indeed :patsch )

As Pac was punishing De La Hoya round after round, my friend whose a casual boxing fan kept yelling at me the idea that Mayweather should fight Pac next. Personally I'd rather see Pac fight Hatton next and then after becoming the 140 lbs champ he should consider a clash with PBF.

De La Hoya did not throw for more than a 1 minute and a half I feel something strange, not the only thing I was happy to see it shattered but there's something weird. Mayweather is very full for many.

I'm still amazed at what happened tonight.

I think I'm with fleaman on this. I still think Floyd would win, but the prospects of this fight just got a helluva lot more interesting.

    I'd LOVE to see it.

Pacquiao ~vs~ Floyd would be a true DREAM MATCH.

Personally, I would much rather see Floyd just come back and fight Manny in what I believe would be a spectacular fight between the two best in the sport.

However, I suspect what you'd prefer is more likely. Manny-Hatton next spring, and if Manny wins, Manny-Floyd next fall.

But I hope I am wrong and that Floyd just fights Manny next.

I still think Floyd wins, but I will never bet against Manny again.

the analogy of ppl on this site is ******ed. "Pac dominated ODLH and Mayweather didnt, so Pac would beat Mayweather". Please remember that Taylor fought a close fight with Hopkins and got dominated by Pavlik who got dominated by Hopkins. ODLH fought a close fight with Mayweather and got dominated by Pac who if he fight Mayweather, will lose. Im not gonna say dominated but Pac will lose if he fight Floyd.

That's not my logic at all. I actually think Floyd would win. I also think it would be a brilliant clash of styles.

Regardless, seeing Pacquiao last night makes this prospect considerably more interesting. I'm not even talking about how each respectively fared against DLH. I'm talking about the fact that Pacquiao is obviously awesome, and RIGHT NOW, who would dare argue against the fact that Manny and Floyd are the two best talents in all of boxing?

I wanna see this fight so bad. This fight is the true fight of the 21st century. when was the last time we saw to Number 1 true pound for pound kings in the ring together since the golden eras of boxing. I know everyone says hatton vs pac. This fight is way beyond that

That's what makes me want to see it so badly. I'm not even a particular big fan of either, but they are both ****ing awesome, and to me, they are obviously the two best fighters in the world.

When the two best fighters in the world are close enough in weight where it could reasonably happen, who the hell wouldn't want to see it?

The boxing powers that be MUST make this fight happen.
