Evening lads,

I've noticed in threads at time people seem to forget a lot of things that actually happened around the time of a fight or event. Now going back through threads is often tiresome and doesn't always work out.

So thought it was time for a thread to be made where people can post stuff like a fight being made, or a injury happening to a fighter or a fighters quote or even a posters post being quoted and dropped in here.

So could be a anything that's happening from now on..

So we could have..

David Price 1st cousin is due to spar Tyson Fury in new year according to Tyson's twitter. The lad is supposedly turning pro..

Now it could be anything like that, stuff we can go back to and use in debates. We have people argue who was the favorite going into the Burns vs Martinez fight. Now someone could just drop a post saying so and so is leading with 67 people voting for him.

This thread isn't a thread to cram everything in and take away from threads being made. Just there to help people with debate and memory. May of may not work..

TBF Beeston i was same, can remember people wanting and demanding even up to day before that UK tv should have his fight with Mormeck then Setanta stepped in.

Can remember the hype after that, the lovefest and then him becoming one of most hated guys on here in space of 12 months if that ..

 

Yeah everyone likes Ricky now turns into the most hated man to have ever worked at JJB sports/DW Sports.

 

Nah Pete, Basically any news or views, fighter comments and posters comments from now on can be placed in this thread.

So i said ''Broner will smash Burns to bits within 3 rounds'' you could quote it and place it in here. If say Frank W says something you could place it in here, then months later it could be worth dragging back up in a debate.

It's a timeline for boxing from this day onwards basically.

 

It could also be a injury or someone becoming a mandatory. So when people say ''so and so should of fought him'' you can go well in timeline thread says he's injured around that time or was mandated to fight another fighter etc etc.

 

Strong feelings there Peter :good, I do fancy Haye to beat Vitali i think he's there for taking but harder job then we think. Would be a dismantling job but fancy Haye would do it.

Burns is a strange one, i'm trying hard to not jump on him over this but when it gets to May if there's no Broner or Vasquez then i won't be watching him..

Yeah he was mustard back then now he's the laughing stock of the board for most part.
