    I think it's worth making a thread for the lesser known promotions to have news/reviews and results posted in a thread.

    I know VIP and Prospect Promotions do post on here, but not all do and lets face it if it wasn't for these shows the sport wouldn't be same here domestically. There's some really good shows that go under radar due to lack of exposure and interest due to people looking towards more mainstream fights but these lads all have to start somewhere.

    So whether it's news/results/information whatever it may be post it.

    Firstly..

    Goodwin Promotions have won purse bids to stage Steve O'Meara vs Yassine El Maachi.

    Where do you get these thread ideas from?! Mine always crash and burn :-(

    Anyway to business what title are the purse bids for? Is El Maachi now unavoidable on the British scene then?

    :lol: I've been thinking of this for a while but wasn't sure as some do post there shows on here etc but thought of it tonight and felt fans could do there own review of the shows they been to. Could make people more aware of shows in there area etc.

    I can only think it's for Southern Area?. I'm not sure what the deal is with Yassine..

    I didnt know the board would mandate purse bids for a southern area if Maachi didnt have some sort of British citizenship. Would like to see him have a go at the domestic scene one way or another.

    Hopefully VIP and Coldwell amongst others might post updates here etc :good

    Remember when Steve Forbes was going to fight over here after signing for Stephen Vaughan, yet any proposed fight/plan was scrapped? Well I asked him about it on Twitter and this is what he said:

    "I have no clue [what happened to the proposed plans]...Vaughan boxing didn't fly me out and scratched the fight...I never got a phone call, text or email..."

    Yeah, it's for the Southern Area title. Goodwin also said on Twitter he'd put in on the undercard of Audley-Adams on May 26th.

    Thats a shame that because I was genuinely looking forward to seeing Forbes when I bought a ticket.

    Not good to be messed about like that.

    I would hope that wasn't their intention, but it doesn't exactly look good for them. A shame about Forbes, I was looking forward to seeing him over here, TBH.
