When you continually turn your back on your opponent and run across the cage then yes you are scared to get punched in the face. What is so hard to understand about this? Lesnar is a Glass Jawed steroid freak.

Herring wasn't really a top contender, even if he's a solid win.

Depends on your understanding of MMA Haggis.

Another way to look at it is like this.

Brock Lesnar is a better money maker as a champion than he is as someone who has to wade through the ranks and earn his shot.

Brock is a no nonsense guy, he isn't young, he knows how to market himself, so he started off at the top rather than having to wade through contenders, lose and also lose all the hype generated around his WWE fame.

It ONLY makes sense for him to take on tough fights, because if he isn't taking on tough fights, he risks losing credibility, and money by losing to someone who sucks balls. I believe Brock is a tough guy who genuinely wants to fight and test himself. Dana White enables him to bypass proving himself as a top contender because he is such a huge draw.

    And thats the story.

A guy who gets hurt every time he takes one to the chin has a glass jaw. That would define Lesnar in a nutshell. He's just a bully who is bigger and stronger than everyone else. If a guy can take his shots, he is in trouble.

..but it's still only 8 fights - How is it the best resume in MMA?

He has overachieved and done very well given his late start, but it's not the best record in MMA by a long stretch.

If you bother to read what I wrote, you would see I mean "best" not as in "the most fearsome lineup of top opponents", but rather as in "highest % of tough fights against top-calibre opponents."

I mean, aside from his pro debut, the worst fighter on his record is probably Heath Herring.

Anyone can talk **** on Brock Lesnar, but NOBODY can realistically say that he doesn't put himself right out there. He takes the toughest fights available to him. And these assholes who laugh at him and call him a glass-jawed coward, that is ****ing ridiculous. He beat the undefeated Shane Carwin, he signed to fight JDS, and now he's going to fight Overeem, but he's a coward who's scared for anyone to hit him. :-( Eight fights into his MMA career and he's faced Mir x2, Couture, Carwin, Velasquez and Overeem, but apparently he's a joke and a disgrace to the sport. Yeah, right. :patsch
