Why? Two guys nearly 40 years old managed it.Neither were top tier bangers at heavyweight.

And he proved this by surviving all those big heavyweight bangers such as-----------?
Which top tier heavyweight punchers did Marciano face?

So Moore's short right hand which floored Rocky and, by his own admission buzzed him to the point of blacking out for a couple of seconds, was harder than Wilder's right hand that ko'd Ortiz?

    I don't think he'd need 7 rounds.

Wow you’re always stretching. Maybe Ali has a China chin he was floored by 180 pound cooper. You’re rationale doesn’t take. Marciano was floored twice for a total of four whole seconds by shots he didn’t see coming. Wilder isn’t hitting him with anything he won’t see coming because wilder isn’t capable of setting up a real fighter. His best win is Ortiz twice. Got his ass handed to him by the only real fighter he fought in Fury. The Moore fight was also his last fight.

Yes Marciano would probably lay him out in 6. I’d assume if that bum Ortiz could last 7 a top ten ATG could.

So Ortiz isn't a real fighter? Many here would say he has better boxing skills than Marciano.
How old was Marciano in his last fight? Wilder is 34! Ali was pre- prime against Cooper .185.5lbs About the same weight as Rocky.
Marciano was bang in his when he was dropped!
Marciano would need a stool just to reach Wilders chin!

He proved it by walking through thousands of clean shots from quality punchers and never taking a step back despite that because they just couldn't even phase him

Wilder would be like Zeus, raining down right-handed lightening bolts on Marciano from long distance, and jumping out of range every time Marciano tried to shuffle forward to get within punching range.

Unless Marciano fights out of his magical ninja crouch, which would completely negate Wilder’s 16 inch reach advantage.

no just saying wilder would need to drop rocky more than once to get a ko

two good clean right hands minimum to finish the job

LOL, a 5 foot 9 face first brawler who went life and death vs Pensioners with 164566 fights on the clock...all small man in comparison to today and said AARP recipients still knocked his azz down......maybe you Einsteins figure out that Wilder laid out Fury and Ortiz 1 with not just a right hand.......marciano crouching would allow Wilder to tee of on the top of his head......marciano would never close the distance, he would get bombed long range lunging in......and there is no way in hell he would survive the temple shot Ortiz took.........6 foot 4 235 pounds skilled south paw chin with a long record vs 185 pounds slow swinging for the fences......this fight would not even be sanctioned today, Wilder would be charged with man slaughter.
