How do you think they have done.

I mean there was heaps of hype but imo they haven't done much yet. I persobally prefer sky sports, although the commentary is bad everything else is a better level

Sky sports is the WWF, BT sports is 1999 WCW imo

i remember when they first announced it there was a lot of hype and they had a promising start to 2017 with the smith williams and flannagen card, then langford's defeat, then warrington martinez, then davis walsh, after that it went a bit downhill, then the latter part of 2017 was quite good with warrington ceylan and the degals selby double header with frampton's first bt fight and a few york hall 1 sided prospect showcases BJS 2 fights as well, and it looked like they could really compete with hearn within a year or so, but 2018 started shockingly with no show in the first 3 months,
this year they've had frampton donnaire, selby warrington, and flannagen and fury which have been quite good, overall i think hearn had a great first half of 2018 and is still well in front.

Is it just one show in so far? If so it’s a bit hard to criticise although I do agree with the sentiment. Sky production etc is just so much better and obviously the quality of the fighters are.

They need to employ one of us on here just to cast our eye over any proposed fights and say yes or no to which ones us fans would be happy with and know would sell.

That’s the problem with these big companies, the big boss gets shown ratings and realises there is money to be made and then throw’s a heap of money to someone below them that knows naff all about boxing and just agrees to whatever

It’s all very well putting on a huge show with 12 fights But at least 4 of those have to be competitive!

Eddie, frank, mick or any other promoters, sky, bt, Adam smith if you want to inbox me for advice on what fights to put on then please do

It would be a pleasure and I wouldn’t charge

    Cheers

I know over the past few days we’ve had the discussion about fighters and trainers on here but it would do BT and Sky no harm to check on here once a show is announced to gage fans views. Even post show if a representative came on here asking for feedback and could even say something like Buatsi is 6 fights in that’s why he’s still fighting bums, Yarde needs experience against southpaws before we send him to the next level etc.

i think BT sports started really well but this years has been a **** show really. They really need to up get Warren to up his game and start making good fights.

Honestly you can listen to the fans Somewhat but you have to draw a line.

    Here's "ESB promotions" first card

    Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder
    Tyson Fury vs Povetkin
    Kell brook vs Amir Khan
    Saunders v groves
    Joe joyce vs dubois
    Kelly vs taylor

    Etc.

I mean esb promotions is off to a great start but who the **** knows what we are putting on next month

It started well but this introduction of BT PPV has absolutely ruined it.

Yes it is a good analogy - watching PDC on Sky compared to BDO on BT.

That is exactly how it feels when watching boxing on BT and with Fish at the helm, I am not overly confident that it will get much better.

if the big wigs were to consult fans on fights, hardcores wouldn't be the group they go to, they go to casuals as that's where the money is unfortunately. Just look through matchroom comments on their tweet to announce the Parker/Whyte undercard, casuals genuinely think its one of the best cards they've seen, and its PPV so they have the valiation of the masses.

It comes down to the quality of fighters as well, Matchrooms star man is Joshua and who has Warren got leading the line, a massive oaf with titties and a fat hairy back.
