Leonard had already been a champ at 154lbs.

There is no demand for GGG to fight Brook. Huge difference

Hopkins doesn't get a lot of credit for beating Hoya and both those guys had beaten champs at MW.

No, stupid. Povetkin was not champ at the time, unless you count the "WBA Regular" title . Besides, in case you hadn't realized, the cruiserweight limit is s strapping 200 these days. It is not a two weight division difference, but the difference of a pound.

    Nunn-Starling was the correct ****ogy.

These are the former WW champs that Hagler fought.

Roberto Duran- Won a belt a 154 before fighting Hagler. Would later add the 160 belt after beating Iran Barkley in FOTY.

Sugar Ray Leonard- The former 147 and 154 pound champion before fighting Hagler. Would later go on to win the 160 title, 168 and 175.

Thomas Hearns- The 6'2 former 147 Champion and the 154 champion at that time. Fought twice at MW before fighting Hagler and would later go on to add the 160, 168 and 175 titles to his resume. Last fought at Cruiserweight.

These are the former WW's Hopkins fought

Felix Trinidad- p4p top 3 fighter, unified the 154 division, moved up, then knocked out the reigning WBA middleweight champion of the world before fighting Hopkins.

Oscar DLH- Unified the 154 division before moving up to fight Hopkins.

He is talking about the one that HBO will hire it's best writers to try and sell this fight as legit.

I'll give them credit they have the sheep convinced that this man is "Feared". (Excuse for his sh*t comp.)

Hopkin's 2 signature wins at MW were against former WW's

    Brook is also a champion

btw, I'm not defending GG-Brook one bit, it's a complete mismatch that should never have even been talked about, much less actually made

good luck to them, trying to sell this as legit

I'm a big GG fan, but this "fight" is a huge disappointment, and trying to sell it as legit only makes the matter worse
