Wlad - Buster was very aggressive in that fight. So, if he were to fight like that against Wlad - he would get KO'ed. Ibragimov wasn't trying to press the fight - he was just trying to survive.

That night in Tokyo, we saw a Buster Douglas like there never was before & never was again. He fought inspired because of the recent death of his Mother. His determination & obvious technical skills were at an alltime high & if he came to the ring against Wlad under those circumstances, I wouldn't want to be a Klit fan.

if Buster could stay away from that right hand long enough he could have won a decision or even KO Klitschko. The moment he takes a clean hit from W's right hand it'd be over sooner rather than later.

Maybe & maybe not. Even though Tyson wasn't in his best shape, Douglas still manged to survive many bombs from Mike.

Douglas by KO within 5 rounds. The one thing Wlad relies upon time and time again is his height and reach, which would pretty much be nulified in this matchup. Wlad's chin would be tested again, and if Tyson couldn't survive those attacks, no way in hell Wlad could.

    Buster by brutal KO.

Wlad was ****ing shite aganist Ibragimov, despite outclassing him. I was gonna say schooling him, but that was a lesson in how to look ****ing shite whilst getting the desired result.

The Buster who fought Tyson would transform into a Buster fighting WALDO.

    People forget this.

Let's see, what did Buster show against Tyson:

Quick movement all over the ring
    A masterful jab
    Sound defense
    A hell of a workrate
    Very good combination punching
And most importantly - loads of heart and winner attitude

WK has no defense against a jab (Mercer did a paint job on his face, even though he threw only jabs almost exclusively)
WK has no defense against combination punching (he may see the fight punch coming and dodge it thanx to his reflexes but since he has no defense fundamentals all he does is clinch whenever possible. He's not seeing those followup punches, otherwise he wouldn't have lost to Sanders)
WK doesn't handle a high paced fight too well
WK's accuracy decreases dramatically if the opponent moves a lot (see Williamson, Ibragimov fights)
    WK cannot afford being hit.

Chances favor Buster if we're talking about THE Buster he showed up on that night in Tokyo. However, Buster couldn't afford taking a clean punch from WK either, so that kind of evens out the chances...

All completely irrelevant when he goes in against a different opponent.

hmmm... i'm not getting your point. These things don't become irrelevant all of a sudden. You either have them or you don't.

So, if I show great foot work and speed against a punch bag I will not lose it against a professional fighter?

    I keep it - true.

But you will not be seeing much of it.

    Same principle.
