Buster by KO. The Buster that beat Tyson was a machine that night. No way Wlad's jab would stop him

:rofl :rofl I love when people do this. Try to act like Buster Douglas morphed into superman for a night. Buster Douglas is Buster Douglas, and no version of Douglas beats Wladimir Klitschko.

Douglas fought a very good fight. He showed that if you keep Tyson on his back foot, he isn't very effective. Tyson on the other hand, forgot how to move his head.

Douglas is 6 ft. 3.... If one can't deal with a 3-inch height difference then you're in the wrong sport...

Whoever knocked out Douglas before or after the Tyson fight has no bearing on the outcome of Klitschko fighting that version of Douglas.

If we were gonna play ******ed games, we would refer to Wlad being knocked out by Sanders - a 37-year old semi-retired boxer/golfer; in round two.

If Tyson couldn't knock him out, I don't think Wladimir would pose any reasonable KO threat to a man motivated by the death of his mother. The slow-count argument isn't gonna fly either - there was nothing Tyson could do to keep Douglas down that night in Tokyo.

Mercer did nothing of the sort. That fight was more one sided than Brewster was.

I never like these best vs worst (or poor version) matchups.

Who wins? Prime Mike Tyson vs 9-year-old Evander Holyfield?

If Hollyfield can keep out of trouble at range he has a very good chance.

You are the ****ing idiot who doesn't know that EVERYONE who put up a fight against Tyson beat him. You are also the idiot who doesn't remember Holyfield knocking out Douglas.

    Douglas was nothing special.

Douglas was knocked out by a smaller Holyfield. End of story.

Which has nothing to do with anything. Say do you have any pictures of Wlad eating lunch?

Douglas was only mobile because he fought Tyson.

Against the rangier Wlad, he was nowhere to go. Movin/boxing will not be an option.

Suggest you watch how mobile Botha was against Tyson. Now compare that against Lewis, where he had his back on the ropes all the time.

The Douglas that was knocked out by Holyfield was not anywhere near the shape/level that he was in for the Tyson fight. Your opinion is void. End of story.

He was very boring, yes, but totally in control. The performance against a super - defensive and very small fighter who crouched to a size of 5'5 to not get hit says nothing about what Wlad could do to a tall, aggressive fighter.

However on that night in Tokyo, Douglas performed on another level. It's like that 1980 hockey game US vs. Soviets. So while I would pick the current version of Wlad to beat Douglas nine out of ten times, I am not so sure about the version of Douglas from that night.
