    Then have them fight in a ring. Pride and Dream are successful with it. You just need ring hands on the outside to keep people from tumbling out. In the above pic, I'm not sure how the ref got involved there.

    I like to think that he got overzealous at the end of a round while separating the two and caused the whole mess.

    In the media it is claimed there are underground cage fights being held in Melbourne where cage fighting is banned. There is a new push for legalization on the basis that it would allow sufficiently trained medics to be in attendance.

    one thing about the pride ring was, it had a big area outside the ropes....traditional boxing rings often only have 6 inches or foot and than the drop off. Makes it a bit dangerous even for good old regular western boxing. Not to mention when you have guys trying to essentially tackle each other.

    Ring is bull**** for an MMA fight. Gets in the way all the time and presents an artificial obstacle to consistently interfere with the natural flow of the fight. :bart
