You think a middleweight like Eubank could take those shots that KO`d Groves , when he couldn`t land anything near to that against Groves?!

The size difference in that fight would be quite scary.

That's impressive I am sure even Groves cut more than that , id have thought a guy like smith would walk around about 13.5 stone min , he must be very disciplined with his diet.

Is Smith a Hearn fighter? Saw him in the ring after the fight, but never realised so before if the case...

I cant see degale or eubank bothering him, maybe ramirez at 6ft 2, for me he should move up, there are some top fights in that division the likes of bivol what a fight that would be

Never understood the whole ‘weight bully’ line. If you can make weight you can make weight! Well done Callum top fighter.

The biggest danger of Callum Smith losing his belts are if he fights a fighter that he does not see as a danger, because he is so laid back. Shouod have one or two more big ones at SMW then a few more at higher weights then call it a day.

    Styles do make fights

Groves is more active than Smith and utilised a smart game plan against Jr which was smothering him on the inside and not letting him work. The ref let Groves clinch all night and Jr had no answer to it.

Not to say Smith couldn't do the exact same thing and win even easier than Groves but I don't think he would.

Smith is patient and actually quite good on the inside. He might just try and bash Jr on the inside which would actually give Jr opportunities himself.

The fight could become interesting, but I do think Smith is simply too big. Groves was a fair bit bigger than Jr but it wasn't the size that won him the fight. I think Smith is much bigger than Groves and would probably beat Jr on size alone.

Special fighter. Showed his counter attacking skills, his shot selection, patience, defensive skills and power and finishing skills. Got so much to his armoury. Never even got to show how great he is up close.

How would he have a 50/50 chance in a brawl v a much bigger man who is far better up close, hits much harder, has better shot variety and a much better boxing IQ ?
