Groves hurt Eubank and Chris can`t match super middles for power, he would be easily overpowered and knocked out.

 

Eubank Jnr is not a SMW. His also not a top level fighter. Whether it is MW or SMW he gets beat vs the best.

He will do the same to DeGale IMO and then should move up to LHW to face Stevenson or Badou Jack.......

 

Would do well with Mccracken but i think that's harsh on Joe G, who's tactics were brilliant for this fight.

 

Well according to Judge that's it the fight is over now so all the Smiths HAVE OFFICIALLY LEFT HE GALLAGHER GYM!

Looks like I'll have to take my slice of humble pie. Honestly thought that Groves would have been a wee step too far for Callum.

Despite his size, he doesn't seem to be having much trouble making the weight at SMW. Maybe he should go after Benavidez and/or Ramirez and unify the division. Saying that, the bigger fights £-wise are probably up at LHW. Either way, looking forward to seeing how Callum progresses from here.

But let's not pretend George was 100%. It was clear from the opening 2 which way this was going and Groves is either shot or mentally not fully recovered from the shoulder injury. I suspect the latter.

As said before great measured performance and finish from Callum but Groves was not all there tonight.

 

So who do people think Smith will fight next? A big domestic name in Degale or Eubank Jr? The WBA rank number 1 in Chudinov? Or will Smith have a unification fight with one of the other champs?

 

I think he should be feeling confident in beating any of them.

It will probably come down to availability/timing.

He might not be very sought after in the states. Too big of a risk to reward ratio.

I think there will be a fair amount of ducking and diving from the other champs.
