kessler won 3 marbe 4 against calzage, and he won 2 against ward, thats a gigantic difference, your real smart, if all you have is simply comparing how one fighter did against a common opponent, then you know nothing about boxing and you shouldnt of posted. Ward is a supremely talented guy, and i personally thought the winner of ward kessler was gona win the super 6, and my thoughts havent changed, but the kessler who thought calzaghe and the kessler who fought ward are two completely different fighters, in addition ward as a professional has never fought a volume punching southpaw, with great footwork and stamina who works angles and can adjust, he would of overwhelmed ward with volume adjusts and wins a close ud, you just wont allow your american bias to judge calzaghe fairly, and many black americans on this forum cant give over their racial prejudices to judeg him accuratley, it makes everyone whom posts nonsense about him look ridiculous, people who know boxing know calzaghes akward high volume style and amazing stamina would of given anyone fits even a prime rjj

Man I'm bored of this comment. Have you never heard of fighting abroad and psyching your fighter up for the last round. It was a close fight of course he's gonna tell him he's losing!

Anyways genius its Tocker. And at least Joe put him away. He went twelve rounds with the """"""great"""""" sven Ottke!

Also by claiming he doesn't have a chin you embaress yourself.

We've all seen him get up from shots that would have had many a fighter counted out!

In the 12 round era, Calzaghe with his chin and work rate is a special

    Calzaghe, easy.

Joe is used to fighting dirty. One of his few knockowns suffered was against some Middle Eastern guy and that fight was an all-out war and just nasty. He likes to fight like that and can fight that way, whereas Kessler does not and cannot.

Ward got tired as the fight wore on. Joe would have punished him late.

:rofl:lol: Didnt you say Kessler was going to KO Ward in 7? Calzaghe couldnt even drop a faded Roy Jones Jr... so you want people to believe he's going to KO a young and hungry fighter in Ward?

    LMAO!:rofl

That guys name was Kabary Salem. The shot that knocked him down would have stopped most fighters. Joe just got careless when he had him on the ropes and Salem caught him with a ******* on the chin.

I would say that Bika was the real dirty fight though.

    Thanks! :good

I can't remember the Bika fight. I think I saw it but can't recall it right now.

You're right though, that was a HUGE shot by Salem and Joe was able to take it and come back.

He's been in some wars and doesn't have any problem fighting dirty if the bout goes that way. He also is a good infighter which Kessler is not.

To be honest though I think its footwork, ring craft and pace of the fight that would win it for Joe.

Those who pick Ward because of the common fight in kessler, do u then think WARd beats Hopkins since calzaghe did?

I think Ward can outwork and out hustle Hopkins because of Hopkins decrease in work rate...I based that soley on how Hopkins looks for opportunity to counter...Dont get me wrong...I'm not picking Ward to beat Hopkins but I wouldnt rule it out on him taking a hard fought UD! ( somewhere of the 115-113 area):good
