Damn, so did I.............Amazing HOW much BHOP has deteriorated and STILL fought Calslappy to a "SPLIT DECISION"

Bernard's ring generalship was "legendary" that night and would have rolled Joe.

wouldnt it be easier to ask prime vs prime?

at any rate Id lean toward Hops. . . but I also though Hops was gonna win the actual fight so who really knows.

Hopkins was masterful defensively against Trinidad and he did control the fight until he closed the show... Remember he went for it, took Tito's hook and counter-hooked him in the 12th... Of course, Joe completely outclassed Lacy and put him down twice in the 11th ( a jab not ruled as a KD) and in the 12th, but against a younger Bernard, he would have had the same strategical problems and serious issues down the stretch. It could have gone either way.

Don't doubt yourself, Hop's 'shadow of his former self' did beat Calz... However Liquored up judges, announcers and Uk fans swayed the decision.

Neither am I, but that pitty pat doesn't impress me. Those flailing arms did nothing to Hop. I just don't see how he lost the fight. Please explain what he did to win you over...Was it the hip shaking or low blows?

I saw him clearly outwork him and outpoint him.

Are you really buying Hops' poor acting job on those phantom low blows?

How did you like the fake writhing on the canvas and acting like a ***** in the 10th round performance by Hopkins because he was so exhausted and needed a 5 minute break?

It was in a newspaper interview, Joe stated he intentionally hit Bernard low the first time to slow him down because he had knocked Joe down. He stated the second was an accident...

The first low blow was a tap with the side of his glove cause by Hops pulling Cals head down .. . the second low blow was non-existant, even Joe Cortez wasnt buying that crappy acting job Hops put on. :-(
