Canelo points.

Jacobs hits hard, but Canelo has a great chin. Chances of a Jacobs KO, not great, 5% maybe. Jacobs has been stopped but is a slick fighter and a lot bigger. Canelo has a chance to KO him but not a great one, 25% maybe. So we're left with it's probably going to points and if that's the case then barring a Jacobs shutout (which isn't going to happen) we all know Canelo is getting the decision.

 

By tko? You're joking right? GGG couldn't put him down over 24 rounds and GGG hits like a freight train. Only Lemieux hits harder than GGG from what I've seen. Canelo has a steel chin, so I don't see how he's going to knock Canelo down.

Points victory is possible if Jacobs is comfortably ahead. If he's not he'll be robbed and we all know it. For him to win by one round in the judges eyes he probably needs to win by 3 on the media/fans' cards.

I'm not ruling Jacobs out, but he's got a mountain to climb. Being an equal against Canelo isn't enough as we've seen because of the judging. He needs to be comfortably ahead and I don't think he's quite got that in him. Think Canelo edges him on the cards, with Jacobs winning by one or two on most people's cards.

Heart says Jacobs who I think is a class act and a great boxer, head say's don't be delusional... Leaving aside the scorecard nonsense I also have the slight feeling that Danny may have peaked. There were slight signs against Sulecki and Sergey maybe? Canelo is very solid, has those punishing body shots. Maybe he will prove too strong.

I think Canelo UD is the most likely outcome but won't be putting any money on it and as I say, Jacobs winning would be the best result for boxing.

I definitely think Danny will outbox Canelo and make him look like his (normal, struggles with movement, twitch fiber athletes) self.

Danny will then lose a decision: likely 117-111 on two cards and probably win 115-113 on the third.

 

Canelo, UD. I think the body work will be the difference.

 

I'll go out on a limb and say Canelo by close, disputed decision.

Danny Jacobs late stoppage or SD victory. Safest bet is Canelo UD though, but id hate to see that and wanna see Danny win. There isn't a doubt in my mind that Danny can KO Canelo. Ya, Canelo went 24 rounds with GGG and wasnt dropped, but GGG has slowed down a solid clip so Canelo saw all of his shots coming and reacted accordingly. Danny has blazing hand speed -- much faster than Canelo's -- and foot speed, accuracy, leverage, length, and size/strength to catch Canelo and put that red headed ******* down and out.

 

We all know Jacobo needs a brutal KO to win this...

 

I think that Canelo will stop Jacobs. I don't wanna see it but that's how I'm calling it.
