How the hell is Bradley a better option when everyone thinks he clearly lost his last fight? Let's also not forget he's with Top Rank. Guerrero was the best of limited options at WW. The Alvarez fight is better, but I do like the idea of Canelo actually beating a live guy before it happens.

 

It looked like toe to toe action in his last 3 fights.

 

Guerrero is so damn cringe worthy in everything he says that it somehow became entertaining to me...

 

Guerrero is a very good fighter. He's got a very uncertain future for his family. He's a prizefighter who was one of the more obscure champs with his on-paper accomplishments for a long time and his wife has been fighting cancer on and off in their young life. Of course he talks **** so he can get fights like this. Whether he's good at it or not. His family could be **** out of luck at any given moment and what he's done has gotten him one of the three or so huge fights he wanted (JMM/Pac/May) and good for him, I say. I don't have any desire whatsoever to see him do anything other than give a good account of himself in a good fight.

I think he'll be widely UD'd or picked apart to a TKO down the stretch. I'm interested in how well he does and I'm interested to see Floyd ply his trade whenever but that's where that ends, for me. No relish or high intrigue in this one for me. Guerrero has been full of eye-rollers for the past few years, but so what? He's doing what they're there to do. Keeping their eye on the prize. That said, it's a funny post. That Manny Steward bit before the fight even happened had me laughing...of course, I also thought Berto had a good shot at a kayo then. Heh.

 

Good post and I especially agree with the highlighted part, sure Robert is a massive cornball, but his lame and corny **** talk is what helped him secure the biggest fight that any fighter can get, along with his determination to get better as a fighter while moving up a couple weight divisions, including skipping a whole division just to get to welterweight and has gotten 2 good wins in there along the way.

I didnt like his dirty tactics in the Berto fight. I hope Mayweather knocks him out and teaches him some respect. Not that Mayweather is respectful himself but i just like him better than Guerrero lol

 

I couldn't be the least bit interested in thsi fight. Guerrero is vanilla, he has nothing both in and out of the ring. Floyd is doing what he does best, milking a cherry pick and rinsing his idiot fans of money...

I will check the result when I wake up next morning and that's about it zzzzzzz
