Frankly, Mateusz Masternak's career makes me sad. "Master" was a two-time European champion, with victories against Mormeck, Kalenga, Balski, and a WBO world championship that he dominated before his injury against CBS.

A big fight against Dorticos, he waged war on the one who was the 3rd best in the category after Gassiev and Usyk at that time.

He has two illegitimate losses in his record: his two defeats against Johnny Muller and Grigory Drozd. He is one of the few to have truly beaten Taylor Mabika.

At almost 39 years old, but with his impressive record, I don't know what he can do, but I find it sad; he should have had world championship chances much earlier in his career.

I'm not even talking about his technical qualities like his toughness maybe the most iron chin in Cruiserweight currently?, he has a steel chin, his underestimated striking power and his ring IQ in his precision and control of distance management.

The good news is the division is such crap that he could easily get another shot.

I hope for him really he is a king without crown (the only thing of his career he didn't have is a world belt)
