You always got value for money in Froch fights. He's a strange character but a proper warrior. One of my favourite fighters.
Surely the idea of boxing is to find a way to win and Froch did that time and time again, whether in Nottingham, London, Finalnd, Denmark or the US. He used his advantages and was a far better boxing that people give him credit for, bar Ward who was class and made him look average, ever other time bar Kessler one he came up with the good, whether that was a KO or boxing for 12 rounds.
Ward schooled him and Calzaghe would have played with him. Gave us some great nights and nobody could question his heart and will to win.
My dad has been a boxing fan all his life and got me into the sport. In 2012 he had Leukemia and I visited him in hospital with my laptop and we watched Froch batter Bute together. Was a rare great memory from a horrible time in my life. Froch was always one of my favourites to watch.
I have wondered how he won an amateur bronze and came up with a conclusion which I think we are all guilty of maybe not noticing. As well as being an iron chinned warrior, Froch is also a very under rated boxer with excellent fighting instinct.
