Who was the best fighter of the three?

How did you score Castillo/Casamayor fight?

    The Corales/Casamayor rematch?

Does anyone remember their scores for Casamayor's several close and controversial matches... The Freitas match, against Santa Cruz, Campbell and Kid Diamond?

    Misc thoughts and observations welcome.

Just remembered that Castillo had his share of controversial and close fights himself

How does Classic remember Castillo vs Ngoudjo, Lazcano, and both Stevie Johnston fights

    Probably Castillo.

Intelligent pressure fighter, sturdy chin. His boxing skills weren't bad either.

    Castillo by a couple points.

    114-113 Corrales

    I had Freitas winning 114-112.

I'm not totally sure how to rank the 3, I'll probably put JLC on top.

As far as Corrales-Casamayor, well on one hand, Casa took 2 out of 3. The last came after Chico's fights with Castillo though, which certainly took something out of him. Casamayor seemed more solid than Corrales.

Probably because of Chico's chin, there always seemed to be a shakiness about him, at least from my viewpoint.

But I do think that Fretias fairly beat Casamayor, while Corrales stopped Freitas. Corrales also showed some boxing skills in the 2nd Casamayor fight, where it seemed that Casamayor was intimidated by Chico's power (Chico dropped him when he was hurt in the 1st fight, then hurt him with a left hook right before the fight was stopped on cuts).

    So I don't know.

I can't remember how I scored a lot of those fights. There were so many close ones. I think I might've had Corrales beating Casamayor by about a point. I like Corrales' resume the most although his short prime limited the glory of Casamayor and Castillo because they each beat a past prime version of him. I can't recall how I scored either Stevie Johnston fight other than that they were close. I did not think Castillo beat Floyd.
