That was at WW when Mosley said that genius. You consider Margarito trash, yet you use him to up Shane, just like all the other flo mos did. Shane went nearly 6 years w/o a big win. From Oscar II (while on PEDS) to Margarito. Hell, if you don't count PED Shane, then we're looking at about TEN years w/o a big win from the first ODLH fight.

Mosely had to be juiced to the gills to take on a sick & weak Margarito who had also been accused of cheating by the CSAC what chance did Tony have ? But when Tony challenged him to a rematch when 100% fit Steroid Shane refused.. Cotto only agreed to that rematch when they knew Tony's eye was permanently damaged by Pac. BUT It was proven he couldn't even beat the Tijuana Tornado even when he only had one good eye since early in second round, which the doctor & ref knew about, but didn't stop the fight till Cotto was fading & gassing fast & Tony was beating his chest yelling " C'mon lets FIGHT"!!! Only then did that doc stop the fight, not to save Tony's eye but to save Cotto the Humiliation of QUITTING on his knees AGAIN!!!!
Did Tony quit against PAC ??? Hell no & he would never have quit against Cotto either despite only seeing out of one eye. Remember Margarito suspended for over 2 years on what was based on a blatant lie unable to even train let alone fight to earn a living. Suspended because the commission who suspended him
